Hey LDC,

Yeh, im feel'n it! I thought the same thing about 6 months ago. I feel that for a wheel to look mean, it needs to be almost concave and work its way out. The M3 wheel do this as well!!

One thing though, I do remember seeing a picture of the replica on something other than an Audi, and it kinda didn't seem right. Perhaps because the car hadn't been lowered or maybe you just think of that wheel being only on an Audi. Anyway, photoshop them on and see what they look like!

Also, remember that the Audi doesn't have the IS250 PCD (5x114.3). Its generally 5x112.

Im pretty sure that the replicas are a multi-fit but I don't really like that!

I know for a fact the M3 wheel do not fit the Is250, somoeone on the US site has them and they are just too BMW if you know what i mean. With the Rs4 the concave nature of the wheels makes the wheels look bigger and this is the ideal look for our cars. Deep dish is not suitable imo.

I did not know about the PCD differences but i hope the replicas come multifit.

Why do you think deep dish don't suit IS250?

It's down to the individual taste but imo deep dish is not for the is250. this doesnt mean i do not think it look good, but only a very few does mind you.

To me the Is is about looking luxurious and classy, race and show car styles that are overly slammed does not go well with the description.

Got a quote from TTyres, $2200 with Hankook 225/35/19s. But the site has it $1999?

My neighbor had the same idea at Tempe Tyres a few months back but were told they wouldn't fit an IS250 due the brake calipers or something

But they are a nice classy looking wheel.

I know this sounds wrong but i think the RS4 wheels would look krazy on the IS250.

Tempetyres sell replicas of these wheels and i'm woundering if they can be bought (WITHOUT the Audi caps). Anyone feeling these wheels? ;)

Hey guys,

I also like those wheels and ended up doing just this a couple of years ago.

The wheels are 18" and my car isn't lowered which is why there is a gap between wheel arch and tyre, however, I do a LOT of driving and have a little boy in the back seat, so I didn't want the ride to be too harsh for him.

I got them finished in shadow chrome which looks great from here:

Wheelsmart (info(ATSIGN)wheelsmart.com.au - Brian Miller) were very professional and prompt, not to mention very reasonably priced. Equally importantly, I have crashed into quite a few potholes around Sydney (hard not to especially when they are filled with water and look like a frickin puddle!) and they have stood the test of time (I bought them in Dec 07).

PCD of 5x114.3 and offset +42

Thanks for sharing Kinjiry, i think 19s would have looked even better.

Yeah, I don't disagree. It was a case of looks vs ride comfort for me, and I didn't want the ride to be too harsh since I had to cater for a toddler (2 yr old at the time) in the baby seat.
