Last night my alarm went off for no apparent reason.

It was in the garage, and locked. Then at 5:15am off it went, woke up the whole house and several of the neighbours.

Anyone had a similar issue?

Does your battery have enough charge? Low battery can also trigger alarms to go off as well.

Also I remember Lexus telling me something about the pressure sensor in the front seats for the alarm when I bought the car or something similar - Might be something in the manual regarding this.

Mines gone off a few times when I've left my blackberry in the car and a message has come through

Intrusion sensor ! someone tried to steal your car, man

But it was locked in my garage and there is no evidence of any tampering. Car was also locked and no tampering there either. None of my kids sleep walk ;)

Jomster mentioned battery or sensor. Battery seems fine, maybe sensor.

My phone was not in the car, was about 15 metres away.

Any other thoughts?

If it happens again I'll give the service department a call.

could it be the garage door? when wind blows at it and the vibration triggered the intrusion sensor?
