Loving my new intake but something i have noticed driving round is after about 3 - 4000rpm is a sudden lunge in power / acceleration.

Is this due to a two stage intake system similar to that on the ISF that controls airflow to the engine to deliver smooth responses at low to medium revs and a harder - edged punch at high revs.


Is it just the way the car is geared ???

Has anyone else noticed this and know any more?

yeah i love that vvti. just wondering if it had the two stage intake also?

pretty sure we dont have two stage intake but i do notice that if you hold a gear and just gently give it gas all the way to redline it stays quiet but floor it screams all the way to redline!
