k2sty1
hey guys i was just wondering if any of you guys have installed a intake and if so, did you guys do it yourselves? or got a shop to do it? thanks again
Terrrrry
I think most of the guys here did their intakes themselves. My friend helped me with mine and it took 15-20 minutes, just be careful when taking the engine covers off, we lost one of the pins when popping them off XD
cevu
easily done yourself. should take no more than 20 minutes like terrry said. yeah, watch those clips! pita!

LOL unless it's actually really easy, and you guys can show me how thanks oh and also how to replace my "parking lights" with LED's ive heard on CL, that there are two bulbs in the inside lights one 9005 for the highbeams and another, i wanna change the other one to LED's so it matches my stock HID's for that bluish kinda colour is that easy aswell? i'll do it when i put the intake on

OK, but the LED cannot support the power and will constantly blow. 1st hand experience. Good choice on the intake, I still gotta get to that one. FrankyX
I also run white wedge halogen bulbs. You can get a range of them that can look very blue, but don't give off much light. Try eBay

IronFist
When you take out the OEM or putting in the intake, make sure you plug in the sensor that's attached in the pipe otherwise you'll be seeing red when you first start the car.

k2sty1
ok, so i took out the OEM pipe disconnected the O2 sensor undid the top part of the intake box i unhooked the lower half, and took out the bolt on the top left and now the problem, cant get the bottom one out i'm gonna go buy a set of tools tomorrow (technicaly today) i got the factory wrench (the one in the toolkit in the car) and the top one came out fine with the bottom one, i can get in on the bolt, but there this peice of plastic in the way, so i cant get the wrench flat i should buy the one that looks like a screwdriver but has a wrench thing right? thanks also, the hose kinda thing before the O2 sensor doesnt fit i mean it goes on, just it doesnt stay on, even if i put the clamp on it, the little pipe sticking out is too small everything else fits fine
LEX51S
I had to use big cable ties for that hose. . I havent had a chance to go get a proper hose clamp from repco yet.
