hi guys,

can some one recommend a place where i can get my f-sport spring installed?

suspension city quoted $180 but not sure if they'll do a good job

thanks

180? seems cheap alright

if they only charge around 80 an h/r

if they can do it in 2 hours

iv done heaps of springs installs on the 2IS but 2 hours is abit pushing it with good tools and everything

id say give suspension city a go

if they want to charge more than $180 after spending 4 hours on it

tell him to get stuffed as u choos them cuz of the price.

and they should really honour their original quote

i am a bit concerned about the so call noise from the f-sport spring..

i readed on the US forum that you'll get a clunk noise when cornering or going over bumps..

just wondering if anyone here with the f-sport spring can give me some idea of the noise and whether it's liveable with or if there is a fix?

thank you..

You'll get that with virtually any lowered spring setup. As the overall spring height is lower, bumps will shake the spring slightly in its seat. Only (easy) way around it is coilovers.

finally got my f-sport spring installed at suspension city.. saw a couple of other lexus in the workshop, gave me confidence that they know what they're doing. cost was only $180 ..that's pretty cheap i think

so far i love the change, the ride is a little firmer and i sort of feel the road more..but best of all is the lowered look. best money spent i think..

hmmm what next? exhaust? i don't want to rice it up but wouldn't mind a more sportier note..

what exhaust are people using?

nice, i would love some springs on my IS

but i think the car should get lower as the springs settle in a bit more (well thats what ive heard)

Lexus issued new rear springs to fix the problem.

Hey t-Lexus,

would you mind putting some pics after you installed the F-Sport Springs..

Just wanna look what kind of drop it makes..
