Air Filter

hey guys, this is a kinda embarrasing question on my part, but i went to fit an air filter in the lex today and i had no idea where to start. :(

any help?

take out the old one and put the new one in its place!! :D

The airbox just unclips usually, but us 3SGE owners may put you crook...

the air filter is luckily the EASIEST engine mod........EVER!

For the 1G-FE engine

the Air Filter is held in the "L" Strip on the Air Box atop the engine

("BEAMS 2000" strip for Altezza AS200 pplz).....which you can clearly see.......

if u look at the front and rear of the strip, u will see some clips holding it down......unclip them.......

then you can pull the "L" strip straight out........the air filter is held within......

and as greeneyes puts it......

take out the old one and put the new one in its place!! :D
