Ac Recirc Always Switches On..any Way To Stop It?

Hi all

The AC air recirc always switches 'on' everytime i switch the engine on. Even if i just have the fan on, anf the system running on manual.

Is there any way to stop this? Otherwise i have to switch it to outside everytime i start the car

On mine (2006 RX350) the recirc button remembers the setting most recently used. So if it's on when you turn off the ignition, it will be on next time you start up. (And conversely if it's off when you turn off the ignition). There doesn't seem to be any override setting that I can find.
