  1. http://www.is300.net/store/customer/produc...p?productid=216 "The factory alarm only triggers if the doors, hood or trunk are opened when armed. Talk about a false sense of security! " Thought the IS300 had internal "radar" sensors as those in the IS200, in the center cabin courtesy lamp. The alarm may not activate from a window smashing or vibration/impact, but once someone reaches in it will. Maybe the US 300's are different?
  2. Sorry, no food or drinks allowed :P
  3. If you are interested, there is a TTE S/C IS in the current edition of Hot 4s :o
  4. If you really need to manually adjust the level, on the back on the main lamp, there is a screw/bolt with a round flat top with teeth.....From memory it's located towards the lower edge. Turn this to move up or down. This is where my headlight motors were attached.
  5. Before you adjust them manually, check that the bulb is seated correctly. I had a similar problem when I replaced my bulbs. The rubber insulator was not seated correctly in my case.
  6. Good combination :P Red Calipers ON Yellow Red Horn IN Yellow :D
  7. There are stores around in Sydney that sell them....however they cost about $50-$55. Search on eBay.....much cheaper, even after shipping! PM me if you need more info.
  8. Just thought I would ask the question. Not something I would put on a Lexus. However, they did look different the first time I saw them Why carry more un-sprung weight!
  9. Just wondering who is going to be the first AU/NZ to put "Spinner" wheels on their Lexus? I've seen them on a 4WD driving in Sydney sometime ago.
  10. I think you paid a bit too much. Got mine for around $35 AUD (delivered!) :D Import Racer 1 Import Racer 2
  11. Installed with double-sided adhesive. Before After
  12. If it's a manual IS200, then the reverse beep is standard.
  13. I'm currently using the TRD Sports Air Filter....purchased for about AUD $90 :D
  14. And you also lose the electric and heated mirrors ;)
  15. Welcome...nice wheel/tyre package. Only problem....brake rotors look tiny now :D
  16. Hi stephenc: nice looking pipe! Is the whole system u got imported from JP specifically deigned to fit IS/Altezza? (I mean is it just bolt-on, rather than locally weld on custom piping?) Did it make a big difference in noise level? any uncomfortable resonance? How about yours Lextacy (on IS300)? thanks SSML Yes, it's a Japanese Import.....manufactured for the IS/Altezza. Bolt-on. No resonance. Quiet. Just enough to notice it's not standard :P However, if you're after a loud exhaust, then perhaps consider an Apexi N1. Not sure about Lextcy's IS300...but on the 200, exhaust note is very nice cuising at around 2000 rpm :D
