welcome ... mate - there are no such things as a CHEAP MOD for the lexus... thats why you own one !! :) I guess you can start with an exhaust ... and rims.. and suspension... and bodykit ... and turbo ... and intake ... and computer ... and graphics ... interior isnt bad, so we can leave that alone ... :P no seriously... i think anything "bolt-on" shouldnt void the warranty. but a TRD or legana grill with be a great start !!!

yea.. I should've dropped in ADVAN, but i was on the other side of traffic. I work just around the corner. :) well.. seems like $695 bucks + the $30 to put on will be going into the car within the next 12 days - cause thats when they will get another one in !! I was abit over the "angle mounted" thing... but I guess I dont mind it hmm.. looks like it should be the TRUST N1 club now. hehehe hey LEX-80Y... those stocky lex rims look good siiting in my garage COLLECTING DUST !! hehehe LOL man - we all gotta cruise soon !

was that your car i saw this morning at ADVAN Racing...?? I drove past and I saw 2 lexus there. both of them bough a TRUST N1 exhaust I think.. then they sold out when I enquired.. :( you think $730 bucks is good bucks well spent..??

thanks for the compliments !! :) lotta bucks went in the car the last few months. lets see... the grill..?? its an original ALTEZZA / LEGANA item. the lip... It might be a trust item, but it was part of the blitz wing I bought, so I assumed it was the same brand. It went really well with the Legana kit. The wheels are a Starcorp brand. I dont remember the name of it. its shadow chrome with a polished lip. yep. it goes well with all the other black chrome bits the car's got. Next on the list of mods... 1 of 2 things... either more power or hydraulic airbags. Theres only one other IS200 I know floating around sydney with this airbag system. gotta get the car cruising now...

OK - this should be Ok to view. www.mode.com.au/images/lex00.jpg by the way, my rims are for sale. only 2 months old with less than 1000 kms. 18x8.5 with 215/40/18 pirelli tyres. purchased for $2780. asking $2100 or near offer I will also throw in the genuine lexus caps which was made specifcally for the rim at no cost. these were $120.00 reason for sale...?? upgrade to the 19s which is what I should've done at the start. :( joe

Hi All ! I have a spare blitz grille for IS200 / 300. Made from high quality fibre glass and already primed and sprayed BLACK ready to fit. this was never fitted to my car as I bought a original Altezza one at the same time and now no longer need it. anyone know where in sydney you might find a business / place where they wreck lexus' (IS200)...?? Im kinda after afew fiddly odds and ends for my car and going through the dealer seems really expensive and petty... I have tried a few prestige places, but they mostly do european cars and because the IS200 is late model car (and nobody yet has smashed one up as bad !! :) let me know..

Just wondering if anyone has ever changed the oil themselves on an IS200..?? The car is nearing the 4 year mark - so I figured its time to pull out "ye ol spanner..." whats the go with removing all the plastic underneath and I cant seem to located the oil filter... is it hidden by lexus to discourage us cheap drivers who buy nice cars but no longer need the $400.00 / 10,000k service... for an oil change and a few ticks on a sheet of paper... Dont get me wrong - Lexus does a great job every time ! Just curious to know ... joe

OK.. so I finally managed to save what I think is enough for my rims... I was originally going to purchased form USA, but shipping costs are way too high... Hopefully I will be able to get a nice set of deep dish 19" otherwise I gotta settle for the 18"s ... Then the Lovell springs will let me hug the ground 1.5" closer... and hopefully in due time.. the kit wont be too far off...

hey ! I have recently upgraded to the black chrome tail lighst and no longer need my factory tail lights. So I guess they can go up for sale. these are off my 2000 IS200 and are good as the ones I just purchased :) no dings... no dents... no scratches... just a few odd dust here and there. Im not quite sure whats a good asking price.. so Im open for offers. let me know if anyone is interested.. Joe

I just got my JDM dash tray... not bad... after installing in (about 10minutes...) - I spent another 10 minutes pushing it up... and down... and up... and down... hehhehe :) I enquired the same thing at sydney city lexus and they have it for about $280.00 i think from memory... off ebay... only $140.00 odd bucks... looks cool. I wonder if I can modify it to put an Alpine TV unit... push down... TV comes up... still tossing up on those 19" rims... hmmm joe...
