  4. I just buy the $4.95 refills from repco haha just make sure you have the right sizes, as some cars the two sides are different. Also try out the X-Rain thing, i use it on my front wind screen and the rain drops just slide off its really cool, just a little hard to apply onto it thats all.. Jason

  10. was at my old work today, they had this white altezza/IS200 (had both altezza and lexus badge on the back), total lost. they said, the car rolled down a hill or something.. took a look at the damage, pretty bad... i used to see it drive around my area before i bought mine, what a pitty... :--( drive carefully guys..! Jason

  12. have seen better... naaaa hahah its mint :-- D!!
  13. i thought u meant the small little blue LED park lights (i think thats what they are called) and not the fog lights..? if you're talkin about the LED park lights, i got those for 20$ or so. and the fog lights, i don't really know how mcuh. the blue halogen head lights (low beam, 9006) are about 60$-70$ sorry about the confusion :--) Jason
  14. hi carlo! i had water vapour in my head light before. somehow it dried out in the sun (i park outside at home) and then i got some window seal silicon or whatever you call it to seal the edges up (just where the tube could reach, as i didn't remove the bumper to seal the bottom edges of the headlight). and its been fine since. unless you wanna go for the black housing headlights, you could try the sealing method :--) the small blue LED, i got mine for 20$ or somethin and i'm sure i got ripped off... <_< and the blue headlight bulbs are quite common, even repco got them (havn't tried them though) and they are 9006s if im not wrong. they are around $NZ 60-70 for average ones and welcome to the club B) ! Jason
  15. i think the covers look great on the yellow and the blue altezzas i don't think they suit silver.. well, thats just me :--) hahah i laugh at those civics too.. they really look kinda gay on them well, yea, haha, personal preference i guess..!
  16. maybe check the air conditioning? mine hasn't worked properly since the day i bought it (and i only found out lately that this has always been a fault) like, i have to keep the air-con temperature right down at the lowest, and if i turn it up by 5 degrees or something, it starts to get really warm real quick. and its never cold even adjusted to the lowest temperature... got it fixed but then screwed up again after 2 days, so i won't bother with it anymore so maybe u could check that :--) another common is the CD player if its the stock one... almost everyone has the same problem - CDs jaming in the head deck check the old post about common altezza problems :--) anyways, good luck with the purchase and welcome!
  17. hey Stephen seen your car a couple of times at manukau toyota. i used to go there quite often to pick parts up for my work, and your car would be at the car park. you work there? of is it just there being repaired? Jason
  18. hey Turbo where abouts in auckland are you in? im in howick stock air filter for me :-- P havn't even goten round to replaceing mine, probably the same one since it arrived in NZ whaha i got tanabe ones, F -43mm, 6.5kg/mm R -33mm, 5.5kg/mm comparing the specs, urs might be better :-- P
  19. Aaron, I'm interested, but depends how much :-- D short shifts are great make driving so much more fun (well, changing gears anyway :-P)
  20. i seen that car before.. it was next to me once at some traffic lights its mint its the silver one right? i thought the 280Ts come with Sparco buckets? when i saw that car that time don't think they had any in there? but had the full 280T body kit oh well, doesn't matter, mint car anyway..!
  21. all that physics i learnt from uni comes into play, moment of inertia. the heavier somethin is, the more power is needed to spin it up. can't remember which equation to do it, but if you put all the numbers in, it does make a huge difference in the power required to spin it up so using the same amount of power from the engine to spin up the fly wheel, the lightened flywheel will spin up faster than the stock fly wheel, putting less load on the engine... i guess this means more power at the wheels, but same power output from the engine a better fly wheel? i guess so, yea, lighter it is, more power goes to the wheels instead of spining it up same goes with lightened alloy wheels sorry for being a geek Jason
  22. why not a RS200? More power and lighter aswell :--) a four door with the handling of a MX5.. y not a 4-door integra typeR? i havn't driven a MX5 before, but i've driven the 4-door R, handles really well, even with the stock suspension.. yea no way a stock IS or RS can have the handling of a MX5, but like Matt has just said, throw in some sports shocks and you're close to there haha Go for it man, i'm sure your baby will like it too :-- D Jason
  23. hey matt..! how about the 5zigen fireball muffler? new or second hand i don't mind..! hahah don't worry about shipping, i'll sort that out hehe Jason
