It is 4 years extendable warranty (at extra costs)/ 6 years paint and corrosion.... I also want to know about the servicing as i want to put in the best oil...I think it depends on the dealer but i would need to ring and ask for mine.

Isn't there a waiting list for the 07 model? I wouldnt think there are any differences.

I test drove both the 320i and is250 before deciding to go with the latter. I can tell you this much, the 320i is crap. It lacks ALOT of power and smoothness and you will not be happy with it. Under normal driving when i drove the 320i, i can't help but go over 4000rpm (just to get it to a speed i want)...this is bad. The Is250 had no problems and is alot more responsive. If you want to compare a bmw to the is250, you need to get the 325i, and that would put you near 80K. Not worth it for just an engine upsize with everything else the same. BMW is very boring to drive and lacks alot of features. The Is250 is for cruising in comfort and fully loaded with options your heart will ever desire so if you're after a car that would give you best value for your bucks, go for the Lexus.

I was told (and i should not believe it) that Australia gets the same car as UK and Japan. Having said that I don't have headlight washer among other things. Would this headlight washers be on the US spec only or is it part of the Options pack that you can get?

I current have the oem bulbs and would like to get some cool aftermarkets ones...bluey color would be nice. I dont have the money to upgrade to HIDs so i might just settle for just the bulbs. Anyone have aftermarkets bulbs? What are some good ones?

Does anyone NOT take their car to the dealers when under warranty? Given the fact that some dealers don't really do a good job of servicing, i'm not sure what to do. should i get them to service the car or do the lube changes myself with the best material.s

Just wondering if anyone can summarise the differences between the Aust vs US Vs UK specs for the IS250. I'm keen to learn about some. Thanks.

That sounds like a great deal especially if it's brand new (by Rap03's calculations, i think you saved $8-9K if you factor in the ORCs). Btw, by Enhancement Pack, i assume you mean the one with Sat Nav...
