  1. Umm, why would you need the speed limiter removed. the highest speed limit in this country is 100km/h, unless you're looking at doing over 180 on a closed road!!! (lol) Oh, and BTW, I 'never' speed.
  2. me dont thinks the little tezza's are built 4 speed i got mine cause it looks the shi-ite and not too common(dore) or though there does seem 2 b alot more on the road now
  3. nice exterior, but OTT boy-racer interior is just plain stupid!!!
  4. "blitz" make an excellent kit that comes with everything, basically just unbolt the old one and on with the new. I did mine in an hour flat, car now has awesome induction noise, but as discussed by others on previous posts, has some lag around the 4000rpm line. 'blitz'kit is a little expensive though!!! but if you contact distributor direct should get a discounted price. matt's still the man to source any of this stuff
  5. Associate of mine purchased a Gita with the Jap Nav system in it. After trying to source local procuct to modify the GPS into screen only (for dvd playback), the only answer he had in the end was to trash the factory GPS and start from scratch. I guess this is the easier option, but may be more expensive. Also for all you guys and girls out there considering spending big bucks putting DVD in dash, a little bit of advice... LTSA and Police are looking at making in-dash screens other than stereo or temp control/gps (ie: LCD DVD or game screens) illegal. Dont be surprised if in the near future owners already with in-dash screens will be made to remove them, it may even extend to a Warrant Of Fitness requisite. Screens situated behind the driver would remain legal. Just food for thought before spending the big bucks.

  7. Man, thats a nice Mitsi It's got the 'bling' factor
  8. Ahhh, the trusty wee TRD oil filler cap. Just got one, and looks very nice (ra ra) But: 1. Very expensive for a little bit of billeted steel. 2. Dont take it off to show your mates after youve been running the car for a while, as it gets really f****n hot. (and no, I am not a rocket scientist) 3. Bloody TRD wording faces backwards when screwed down (this one really pisses me off!!!).
  9. Just to let you know, I have put a set of new LOC club stickers on my Tezza, based on Jase's design. They are subtle but classy. My friends digital camera is bung, maybe I could catch up with you Muzza, so we could load some pics in the gallery? Rear sticker measures 250mm x 65mm Quaterlight stickers are 130mm x 35mm Colour: whatever you want, can be internal or external mount. Cost: $33.95 for the set of 3, inclusive of GST and courier in NZ. (cost will be a little less for members able to personally uplift the stickers) Guy whos doing them is Reece KENDRICK, from Reece KENDRICK signs in Palmerston North, he can alter the size etc to accomodate individual needs but alterations may cost extra. You can contact Reece on phone/ fax (06) 3574410 or 025 509434, or e-mail reecekendrick.signs@xtra.co.nz
  10. CRAP, HTTP LINK DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK, TRY WWW.SUPRASTORE.COM THEN CLICK ON THE LEXUS IS300 ICON
  11. FINALLY FOUND OUT THE SUSPENSION PACKAGE THAT CAME WITH MY TEZZA FROM JAPAN. CHECK IT OUT ON WWW.SUPRASTORE.COM/SUPRA/TRDCOILOVALF.HTML (SORRY WORK COMPUTER WONT LET ME LINK) MATT. SEEMS TO BE REASONABLY PRICED ON THIS SITE DAMON
  12. ok i have sorted this out i can confirm at this time no one is manufacturing carbon fibre look plate surrounds to suit nz licence plates it is likely this will happen in the future if manufacturers feel demand is high enough. as such i am concentrating on getting the club stickers sorted. i have handed jase's design to a local computer sign man who is cleaning it up as i only had a jpg. looks promising and he can do almost any colour. hopefully cost will be low damon
  13. What do you think Matt??? My work car just makes people uptight for some reason...lol
  14. I'm keen as this will be a very good way of promoting the club in a professional manner. I see this being of little use unless we can get the surrounds made as a bulk deal, and are able to offer them at a reasonable price, to any member who wants them. Others may have a better idea than the carbon fibre look, we can obviously get black or chrome locally at a small cost, but the carbon fibre sure does look sweet!!! Damon
