I took the car down to eastern creek and tested the car out in all aspect, these are my opinions. 2007 sports luxury *brake pads definitely can be better, if you guys have a look at the brake disc (though the car is only NA) ... i would expect it should have at lease a bigger brake disc / 4 pistons for the price tag. Just changed to a set of aftermarket brake pads for a cheap solution. *suspension is pretty good for road use, obviously would be better with a set of coil over with -1 to 2 degree camber at rear for road use, chassis balance and handling are better then i thought for OEM. *seats needs to be more "buckle up" even for road use, i was swinging myself left to right baddd when i was drifting. *need more responsive power even though its only a VVTi engine. Not enough torque to do a continous drift, on both low and high rev are pretty disappointing (would like to see the dyno graph but not gonna do it on this car) *VSC works pretty well, obviously more fun by disabling in wet weather (hold onto traction control for 5 secs) *tyres grip pretty good in both wet and dry, thats what you will get from sport maxx anyway =) *functionality wise you get what you paid for in a luxury model, can't think of any other cars which have all the electonics stuff, functions etc but lower price.

I have the luxury model too but I don't give a damn about the high beam really, yes yellow is ugly but how often do you actually use the high beam .... I've done something cool to my car though, after searching everywhere (ebay, overseas, auto shops etc) i've finally found a pair of leds and replaced the parking lights. Whats so special about the leds you might ask, this pair actually matches the head lights colour. For those of you who don't know ... it is pretty damn hard to find a pair of leds that is warm white, even though many brands says their leds are white but its actually blue.

They look pretty good. Would be interested to see them when they are installed. if you can post some photos, that would be great. as promised here they are: before: after: theres a slight gap on the left side of the footrest but it is not noticable as it is dark down there. overall i think they look quite good for 100.00 also, haven't done the parking brake yet as my drill ran out of juice yesterday so will be doing that next time. Looks hot! If only it makes a little different to performance

Not sure what you mean?? Have you ejected the original yet?? Actually, let me re ask that. What have you done thus far?? You have finished burning the disk?? Yep, and finally found the tool to remove the clock, got the DVD out. Everything is working now, from v13 to v14 Wonder when is v15 gonna come out hmmm.

You've got the right one (this is the one I got). Believe it or not, the 1.3GB of rar files expands to a 5.28GB Nero image file (.nrg). You definitely need dual layer. Also, learn from the three coasters I made and burn with Nero at 4x speed. I burnt coasters on my Macs (Toast can supposedly read Nero images) and my IS250 didn't like it burnt at 8x speed. Not much seed at the moment, after i've completely downloaded and extract the rar file i'll ask for your help again if i'm stuck

The image I got comes to about 5.something GB, which means a dual layer. It was a UDF Bridge formatted disc, so there's a 1.2-1.3GB ISO partition at the start of the disc (for compatibility with older Windows) followed by the ~4GB UDF partition that holds most of the data. From memory, the Australian map data files came to over 3GB. That said, I don't know if that's just because of the way the disc image was taken, or if that's the way the retail disc is. When I get home tonight, I'll check my retail v12 and see if it's the same or not. Cool, thanks for letting us know. Still downloading at the moment so can't tell yet, as far as I see it's been rar up to 24 parts approx 58mb each, but having reading what you said, 5.xGB ... tempted to stop downloading. Found the torrent in mininova.org.

Noob question, so is that mean I actually have to unscrew the clock facia and put the v14 DVD in? I'm about to download v14 If you follow Blueys pics you will notice that there are no screws, only latchs that get released with the tool supplied. If you have downloaded the complete V14 and burnt it correctly, yes it should work. Should remind you at this stage that you are doing this as a test with the intention to purchase!! ;) (Be carefull what you download, what size is it approx??) No probs yep. 1.3GB, sounds about right? So i can basically just detach it and there should be a v12 DVD already in there? I don't play the DVD like normal to update?
