  1. These are my mates 20inch Work virianza t1s 20x9 +10 and 20x10 +18 with 225 fronts and 255 rears. will def have to change to a 215 front and maybe a 235 rear, full hetic stretch B)

    they are 30 profile, to fit these bad boys id need more camber and 25 profile tyres.

    My jic's get fitted and its getting slammed in 3 weeks so ill be trying em on again :)

    These are a bit of oldschool jdm vip rims. SSR veinna's 18x9 and 18x10 +24. once shes dropped may slip on a 3-5mm spacer for a more baller look :)

    I wouldn't call them rare ilv1004s.

    No offense as I know you have the same wheels, they look great, however they were standard on every Sport IS250 sold for close to 4 years. I've seen them on different cars too, even Hilux's.

    I do agree with you though ilv1004s, best just to keep them.

    my "rare" is based on the amount of Pres and Sports lux compared to the sports

    just bcuz you see them on another car doesnt make them common

    in australia they are rare compared to all the other is250 wheels in those year of manufacture

    when i had my presteige i hunted for those wheels for 2 years and still couldnt find a set. now i have them i will never let them go

    niiice!!!

    ive kinda realised with our cars, it sounds like a "growl" above 3000, but then it turns kinda high pitched after 4.5K

    i <3 your lights, will be getting a pair sooner or later

    and do u have different tips? or a axle back exhaust??

    but i cant be doing that, cops already sus me out for being on my P's in a Lexus

    they pulled me over and told me to turn off my fogs (which i completely forgot about) and they were the cockiest *BLEEPS*

    first they say "turn those lights off! or i'll give you a fine and take your license"

    i forgot about em, so i said "wat lights? my headlights? bro its night, i need em"

    i heard one of em swear at me and my friends (in their cars) and then he came back from his car, shoved his flashlight in my face and "HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT??!!"

    so i told him "i actually quite like it, can u keep it there" and then that pissed em off so they left

    anyway, that was my first encounter with cops and hope its my last!!

    to be honest cops will do that to you if your a P plater

    doesnt really matter if your in a lexus or not

    if u got mates in your car then they'll pull u over

    Also your attitude towards them will not help either

    just dont respond to their provoking

    just say your sorry and dont talk back

    if they really wanted to get you

    they would have defected you on the spot

    i heard of a P plater in his dads brand new commodore that got defected due to the fact he was being smart with them

  4. depends on the condition of the rims. gutter marks, tyre thread etc..

    i missed out on a sale of a set of 18 sports rims with 2 front tyres need replacing and 2 rears with 60% original dunlops for $500!!

    lexus is250 Output is 215 PS (158 kW; 212 hp) at 6,400 RPM (260 N·m; 192 ft·lbf) at 3,800 RPM

    opposed to

    208kw/280 hp @ 6200 rpm

    378 Nm @ 2400 rpm

    not exactly double, when my system goes on i should pick up heaps more torque.

    hm.. ill be really intrested if you pick up heaps more torque

    id say youll pick up max 10nm atw with an fully awsome system

    it just wont happen mate..

    naturally aspriated cars dont make torque unless it's big displacement

    for your mates chaser

    your mates car is modded

    freeing up the exhaust and such would do wonders on a turbo car

    he would have done the basic mods

    which would be boost intake and exhaust

    by getting rid of the factory restictions it'll be fair to say your mates car will be producing more than the factory figures

    if u wanna drift u need more torque and power

    N/A vs Turbo

    his power band would be much agressive than ours

    where ours is linear and turbo cars will have a on boost power curve which will rocket up

    but being a 1jz it's still have good off boost driveability

    for examply my evo

    stock 163kw atw

    then i added exhaust boost and intake and a tune (reflash)

    200kwatw easy as that

    a gtr will have around 190kw at the rear wheel (stock) with a healthy motor and turbo

    freeing up the turbo's (exhaust intake etc) will get it around 260kw at the rear wheel

    now for us Is250's

    Exhaust! Headers + CAT + Mid pipe + axle back

    Intake! SRI or CAI

    thast the most we can do on our cars

    from all that id say around 2K for your system

    and another 300ish for your intake

    youll get max 160kw at the engine

    sad but thats the truth N/A is hard to get power out of

    theres no replacement for displacement
