950? wtf?
wat a rip off
-
Oops I forgot to mention hahah
the isf and the 350 lol
hence I was talking about the m3 and 335
-
One of the reasons why I sold my old 2is
manual was so crap..
IMO Lexus made a mistake, look at BMW
new m3 comes with a manual and a dsg box
335i 6speed manual.. For a traditional sports gt car buyer a manual box is more prefered eventhough the dsg box is daster by 0.05 secs on each shift

Pdders are better than Kings mate
Are you sure?? I had both and I found it the other way round (On a different car)
Pedders are more softer - Kings are more hard
might feel that way
but overall ride quality
the way the car takes bumps and cornering ability the kings where just shot.
-
apparently the gearbox on the manual 2is is from a truck ? lol
-
nice!!
got pics mate?
wats are the plans for it?
-
Hm bad move they should fix the damn gearbox instead of killing it
-
Sorry 1.6" is what they come with another choice would be h tech springs which is afaik about 0.8" drop but I am insure of the price
and install is diy which I will install for u
-
LOL that sucks
Pdders are better than Kings mate
Kings are just pure *BLEEP*
spring rate and everthing is just horrible
I can get you a set of Teins from the US and install if for around 500
let me know
im going to get my teins really soon from the US
-
Hey mate labour cost dhoulb be around 200 ish but do it diy and save money or I can install it for u at a charge
-
Wats the asking price?
-
okay 1 week till the meet up
:D
-
Wow 2.5" is like twice as much as i would want i would think.
Would you know how low the drop is before you need to worry about cambers?
altering any cars suspension will have an effect on the camber
I'd say 2" is the most before u start having major problems
-
chaning spring aint hard
with those wheel specs u can go down to 2.5" or even more.
the wheels wont even touch the guards
my silver 250 was dropped on teins
for reference look at the tein group buy sticky
and i had 18x8's on that too
-
cool, that clears it up
do u rekon when i change tyres, i should go to a thinner profile rear tyre??
a 35 maybe?
cuz the rear tyres look alot thicker on my car than the fronts
all in the looks
changing tyre profiles will upset the speedo
stick to factory specs if you have oem rims
but if u do wanna go 35 profile u need wider rubber to make the rolling diamteter the same
ie
255/40/18 to
255/35/19
or
255/40/18 to
265/35/18 etc
but on the oem 18" 255 is probably the widest you can fit
they are only 18x8
-
pretty sure all oem 18's comes with dunlop sportsmaxx
-
u can use paypal with your debit card
-
they are 40 profile in the back too
-
lol better than being clueless when it happens...
but another memeber stated that when he turns on the lights it does it
so it seems more than heat related more electric waves
btw denis never pick up my calls I'm so cut
-
Sports 18" are the best mate lol
-
hm.. yeah..
wat you guys recon auburn reading cinemans?
or meadowbank warf..
wat do you guys recon?
-
The guys in the states have possesed steering wheel problem.
this is not a lexus fault but cuased by HID ballast being too close to the ECU/Computers and casuing them to fail
Whole thread is here
http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-second-generation/494847-my-car-almost-killed-me-tonite-3.html
I know a few of you guys have Aftermarket HID's
just make sure they aint close to the ECU's
-
9" plus for a exahsut tip is never heard of unless u got a jet engine
9" is probably the barrel size.
u need to cut weld
wont work
exhaust tips are easy enought to get out
