  1. well being a 2005 model i woudlnt take it to the dealer generally dealers are much more expensive than your average performance shop or mechanic shop i do 7K services on my ISF cost me around 300ish dollars for oil and oil filter as it takes 10L's of oil
  2. im telling you this cuz you seem to be okay with a car that hasnt been serviced for the last 3 years as for the service price why dont u ring up different dealers and find out prices yourself not all memebers get the same price for service some get cheaper price due the the relationship with the dealers
  3. even though the car didnt hit the required km's it should have been serviced atleast once a year regardless of the km's traveled
  4. no battery was d/c'd while the intake was being installed then after that dyno run each WOT (wide open throttle) the car responded better we actually saw the fuel curve changing every run when it was making power from 107kwatw it made it self up to 120+ kw
  5. only way you can tell that it made a difference is when you put it on the dyno on our Last dyno run a member with a is250 made power gains every run untill the 10th run this was after a intake was installed and the battery was d/c for 10 mins or so he took out the highest IS250 class!
  6. theres not much to it if your changing rotors and pads should be easy make sure you get a G clamp to push the brake pistons back in other than that it's pretty straight forward just on top of my head 1. jack the car up and take the wheel off 2. unbolt the bolts on the back of the caliper and slide the caliper cover upwards (might take abit of effort depending on how worn your rotors are) 3. unbolt the bolts that are holding the caliper to the hub assembly 4. take off the rotor (might need to hit it with a rubber mallet) 5. use the G clapm to push the pistons back so you can fit the new pads in (more worn your pads are the further the pistons will come out) 6. install new rotors and pad in reverse order thats just a rough guide to a brake change if your in sydney i can def help you out or even install the new 1's for you
  7. So.. Im thinking of doing a Beams conversion to our IS200 auto anyone of you guys done this before?? i can get a halfcut with the lot on it at a good price though being a same chassis i dont think i'll run into any major problems but ill like to hear some personal experience cheers
  8. ecu reset is simply done by pulling the negative terminal off the battery for 10-15 mins or so i think the fuse box for the cig lighter is located in the engine bay passenger side
  9. lol your power curve looks smoother than mine lol i guess the mods make abit of difference on the air/fuel ratios
  10. ah right i used dyno dynamics and so did richie nevertherless yoiur getting consistant results as others
  11. not bad most of us are getting around 250ish mark for stockers 260ish is with a cat back what dyno did they use?

  17. i suggest change all 6 while your doing it so you dont have to change it everytime it dies
