  1. sorry lehman lets try keeping it in the lexus circle for now if we have spots left over then your mate can come or just get your mate to drive your car
  2. I am sure you are right, no insurance but you can check. I raced my road car for a couple of years, not as expensive as the IS-f. The trick is, don't crash. I just want to have a moderate run to get the feel of the car in controlled conditions. yes the key is not to crash but trackdays are not covered by insurance in general but you may want to check with your insurance company
  3. blue slip or mod plate will cost around 200-300 depending on the mechanic
  4. i dont know y people are charging so much for 2j's 1j's and 2j's are pretty much the same and use the same mounts and all even the box and such matches up only difference is the engine i just dont think the double in price is just not justifiable
  5. you sure? 2jz halfcuts cost around 5K 1JZ are around 3-4K 7-8 K look elsewhere
  6. hm.. it seems odd i guess yours is the later model rx350 i havent had a signel problem in my rx350
  7. Well, that's what I thought it would be something as simple as the signal not switching the valve to allow hot water in the heater core or not opening the air flow the right way, but as long as the dealer / Lexus is footing the bill for all this warranty work, I don't mind. What I would really like is to see the difference in the parts, or at least a logical, plain English explanation but as I will be overseas for awhile, looks like my wife will be taking it in for the repairs and probably won't get details like tht from them; be interesting to see the service sheet if they give us a copy however. Thanks for response, so many RX-350 readers looking at this and no one has even said if there heater is working properly yet, come on guys, it is a forum, share any information! :) iv never had a issue with our rx350 my heater is warm even when the temp is just on C

  13. i dunno where your getting your prices from but 7-8K for the engine your getting ripped off pretty hard there actually ripped off is a nice work lol your getting raped on the price 10-15K for 2JZ? u can buy a is200 with 2JZ with abit more money
  14. my suggestion is wait til you can drive turbo and then change your motor 1JZ n/a and turbo are very different engines starting from the pistons ecu heads etc
  15. all good mate iv been watching and learning from the ISF sections on clublexus this is what a Joe Z looks like Also incar footage of the Joe Z CAI is a Cold air intake which i have on my car http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d103/MRR32/?action=view&current=IMG_0945.mp4 also my injen in car footage that iv made earlier to describe it.. well it sounds like your cars reving above 4K rpm everygear hope that helps if you need any more info or have any questions shoot me a pm happy to help you anytime
  16. ISF with Headers exhaust and intake puts down about 420hp atw which is around 310.8kw atw on the dyno highest n/a ever recorded so far is 434hp atw which has had the manifold ported as well the ecu on our isf is a self learning ecu which will learn the driving style and also any minor modifications made to the car the reason for having higher numbers when dyno'd back to back is due to the ecu learning the mods and adjusting the fuel mixtures out.. though this is a good thing im still waiting on a piggyback ecu of some sort as our isf's run really rich on the top end Other exhaust you may consider to joez is ISS forged Greddy Ti or HKS as for the intakes a joe z intake pipe will do the job Brisman iv only seen or heard of Joez intake piping not a full CAI system AFAIK the only full cai is injen, K&N and Takeda a full CAI system with a ram pod will provide more power on the top of the rev range, whilist bottom end torque is sacrificed What filter are you running with your Joez?
  17. awsome yeah cid and scotty and chris thjey are awsome guys mikey you coming to the dyno day? iv organized a dyno day with chatswood lexus and our community
