Kenn, Prestige model use H11 bulb type not D2S bulb. The D2S bulb is only available on the Sport Luxury model. And like Akuma said, 4300K is the closet colour temperature to the Sport Luxury model. I can post some of my pics for the 6000K and 8000K if you want to see it.

I know that you can manual move the light up and down for all is250 modle. The lexus dealer recommended that you should set the level to 0 as other level with blind the incoming car. I got the 6000K for the low beam and 8000K for the fog light.

I had my HID digital Kits installed on the Low Beam and Fog Light 3 months ago and the light are a lot brighter than that stupid Halogen bulb. The light looks so good that I get a lot of eye catching from non-hid Lexus owner. I got mine from this company. http://www.kbcarstuff.com/HID_Kits_s/216.htm. Lexus named the headlamp washer as the "Adaptive Front-Lighting System" (AFS) that allows you to litterally see around corners. By determining the turning from the car's speed and steering angle, the system then redirects the headlamps accordingly for your night driving. It's only available in the Sports Luxury model. I have asked the Lexus dealer regarding the price and they qoute it $10,000 for the whole installation...F*** that...I could use that money on the Supercharger..... Ken, you better off just install the HID kit.... It very easy to install as well...Lots of people have post on the forum on how to install HID kit. cheers, Brandon

I haven't tried to measure the fuel usage because I usually fill up when it is half full plus petrol is not an issue for me cos the company pay for the petrol. I usually fill up with the 98Octane. I noticed that the K&N air filter has increase the performance and it gives a little bit of grunt when it reach 4000rpm. I don't need to press hard on the accelaration pedal anymore. The car just want to go faster.... I am looking to get the JoeZ intake soon....

I had the 45K service recently and the lexus dealer didn't mention any about the fuel systerm service. To gain about 4-5 HP, I recently installed a drop in air filter from K&N and I noticed a huge improvement in performance when it reach 4000rpm. A lot smoother and faster than the OEM air filter.

I have the 07 model and the red label says "Premium Unleaded fuel only" - no E10 mention anywhere.

I got the prestige model and it was built at the factory with the touch screen, camera & wiring etc. It is better off getting the one that already has. Too much trouble trying to install it.

Dafidal, What type of intake installed on your lexus? Where did you buy it? How much? Do you see any improvement and sounds wise? I am thinking of getting one...

Cevu, did u had to drill a hole in the dust cap for wiring hardness for the low beam? I've seen alot of people had drilled the hole.

What type of kit/brand? Did you get from ebay?

The interior light when you open the door are called Dome Light and the type of bulb is 579 or DE3021.

Cevu, Do you have a pic to show where you place the Ballast for the Low Beam? Which HID Kit did you get? I am thinking of getting from XenonDepot.com but the bloody shipping is a bit pricy.... Want to get from ebay but afraid that Ballast might failed after a few months. cheers, Brandon

Hi teddypass, You can install the HID KIT yourself. It is pretty straight forward. I had removed my OEM low beam and swapping with Euroline Bulb. Still not happy with the colour so I am planning to the HID kit and install it myself. Here is the link that show you how to install Low Beam H11 type.
