  1. Me too! Ditto I have full peddars tint and moon roof slightly less klm's around 20 000. How much do you think? I am in Melbourne.
  2. Good luck I have been trying to find this out for over 12 months. Asked Lexus Australia and they couldn't help, asked the dealer and they couldn't help even asked Google and it couldn't help!!! AAARRRGG. Will keep an eye on this thread hopefully someone here can help.
  3. I have that exact same car and lowered mine by 30mm all round. Looks a little lower than yours and posted some photo's here somewhere. Got Pedders coilovers and very happy. Insurance premium increase was $10. Hope that helps.
  4. My understanding is that your vehicle does not have A2DP. I had a 2010 X with bluetooth but it only uses the telephone. I purchased a ne F Sport in Sept 2012 with a digital upgrade and it has A2DP. Anything in the IS range before August 2012 probably doesn't have A2DP. The good news is you can but bluetooth add ons from ebay that will do the same thing. They cost about $15 and will sit in the centre console, powered by usb and plug into the Aux out. Hope that helps.
  5. Thanks guys really enjoying the better handling, faster cornering and the stance is certainly a lot better. Cheers guys and safe driving.
  6. I ended up getting Peddars Coil overs for my 2012 IS 350 F (after a lot of help from several members here on the forum....you know who you are....thanks again). Dropped 40m all round and have found the ride exactly the same as stock although the F Sport suspension is a little stiffer than the other models. Had it done for 2 weeks now and would do it again. The car handles a lot better. Couple of minor scraps from going over large speed bumps a bit too quick but that was me trying it out. Might get the dampers stiffened but again just me playing. Cost $2000 all up fitted with the ability to go back and get it raised or lowered again if not happy. The only thing I would say is that it would look a little better if the front was lowered another 10mm but I am not prepared at this stage to make the changes in my driving habits (ie slow down) to support this lower stance. Will try and post a couple of pictures a little later today when I have washed it!! Hope the above helps and would recommend peddars at this stage.
  7. Thanks again quockies your right on to this suspension stuff. Have emailed to get some details about shipping etc.
  8. So I have been looking into lowering my IS350 F Sport, thanks to "quockies" I was looking at some BC's but they seem to be for IS250 so need to check it out a little more and I was also looking at some KW's. I have just been told the following: "There isn't a specific kit for your car, but the IS250 kit can be modified to fit. The modification to the stock top mounts is required to make it fit. Does this sound right. Car is 3 months old don't want to stuff it! Thanks for all your input.
  9. Thanks for your reply's looking at these or KW's, still doing my homework. Cheers.
  10. When you say V2 do you mean this one? http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=19212&cat=422&page=4
  11. Yes, it does automatically deactivate once the car is off. You wouldn't just activate it and leave it on because what it does is makes your car believe that it is stationary - your car wouldn't be moving on your satnav screen. It didn't cost any thing to have it fitted - it was done by my brother, and the process from start to finish was less than 2 hours. It's a true plug & play solution - no need to cut or solder any wires at all. It comes with step-by-step instructions, including how to remove your trims, satnav unit etc. I reckon a pro installer can do it in about an hour, and certainly no more than 90 minutes. To be sure of the quality of the installation, if you're going to get a pro to do it for you, I would go to a CAMS certified installer, although it is a bit of over-kill for such a simple job: http://www.cam.net.a...am-shop-finder/ Ok now I have got it. Thanks so much for all of this. Picked up my new IS350 F Sport yesterday so will look into this next week once I get it back from the window tinters etc.
  12. Couple of questions if you don't mind. Does it de-activate automatically when you turn the car off? I would just activate it and leave it on. How much did it cost to get fitted and where did you get it done? Thanks this looks like a perfect addition.
  13. Wow thanks to all of you for your reply's. At this stage will definitely lower it just trying to decide to either stick with the originals or go 19". Have a little time to decide so no hurry. Thanks again for all the input it is greatly appreciated.
  14. ilv1004s, thanks so much for your reply and pm. I drove a 2010 this afternoon with 20's and was not overly impressed, doesn't handle as well and while it looked great I will stay with the originals and just lower it. Thanks again, shame it looked so good but not at the expense of how it drives.
  15. Hi, in Melbourne looking to purchase new Lexus either 350X or 350 F sport but want to put some 20" or 22" rims on it and some coil overs to lower it. Wondering if some of the members here can help with the following; 1. Can anyone recommend a good tyre and suspension place in Melbourne? 2. Do you know if the dealer will sell me the car without the wheels? 3. Does anyone want to purchase 4 brand new 18" Rims with tyres? If so shoot me a pm and how much you want to pay, you will need to pick the rims and tyres up from the dealer based in Melbourne so no postage. Thanks for all your help.
  16. I bought one of these from Michael and the transaction was perfect. Once paid he actually overnighted it to me in Melbourne. Brilliant. As said earlier Lexus didn't want to install it but they did put me onto Tony at Audio Visual Security in Melbourne(free plug!) and he came out and fitted it today. Took just over an hour and he said it was simple to fit (for him maybe?!) and worked first time. All good. Highly recommend, woohoo this is my first mod.
  17. WooHoo, asked dealer about this but they couldn't help but this looks perfect. Sent email.
  18. Can anyone view these pic's? Keep getting an error message. An Error Occurred Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. 19. Hey would one of you like to record your exhaust note and post it??? Lot's of pictures but no sound....that would be cool. So who will be FIRST?!
  20. Yes it does thank you so much for all your input. it is possible. the wiring diagram makes sense to me im an electrician tho, is this something you can buy?.. BUT!! im not sure it will really be worth the time it takes to do it. depends how bad you want it really. but its would take a few good hours or more at an auto electrician and probably longer to diy. BUT!!!! if you can get IS250 wiring diagrams somehow. it will half the time to do it. It helps, but it would be nice to compare it with a diagram of that for an IS model variant that has the auto folding mirrors as standard :D Without it, my guess is you'll need an SPST Normally Closed automotive relay switch. The relay coil goes across the orange cable (pin 8). One of the relay contacts are connected to the power supply for the power windows, and the other to the green cable (pin 9). When the power to the accessories is turned off, but the power to the windows is still available - as is the case when you have just switched off the engine - the relay switch will close, causing the mirror's retracting motor to fold the mirror. This is just my guess, but I hope it helps.

  22. Howdy, ok not a mod...yet! But wondering if someone can have a look at this and advise if this is easy to do or if I would need an auto electrician. I have X and want to install a switch that closes the mirrors when I turn the ignition off and opens the mirrors when I start the car. Not to sure about the wiring diagram so any input would be appreciated. AUTO MIRROR.tiff.pdf
  23. Please forgive my ignorance but exactly what is the big deal about the ISF lights compared to original? I like the clear especially on a white car looks very clean.
