I believe i have my right to express my opinion. those service guy keep saying 20k is normal for brake pads very minor problem ? I paid 80k for this brand new car, 1 year old, 20k kms. I expect better quality. unlike yours only 59k so are we playing mine is bigger then yours now? I just put a deposit on the new gs350 sports lux. oh so that makes it umm... i paid .... lets see ... 110k unlike yours 80k. and if the breaks squeel i wont be squeeling at lexus ill be asking them to take a look. You need to relax on this forum. its not a place for you to go around bad mouthing ppl. sure your entitled to your opinion but dont go bad mouthing ppl.

On a side not 20 000km is nothing for a set of pads to glaze over! especially in sydneys recent crappy weather with dirt and grime constantly being splashed up into the brakes. I think you need to relax a bit. its just a little squeek its not like your brakes have failed!! And if you were to ask anyone else about lexus service quality and help to get a problem sorted they will tell you it is second to NONE!! (as proven in thier email offering you to come in to get it sorted) Mercedes wouldnt even look at your squeeky brakes on your AMG they will just laugh at you!!

Like chalk and cheese jaydee. After they applied the carbon killer they moved my car outside and it filled the carpark with carbon smoke. You couldnt see the car for over ten minutes. The response is back. No more sluggish accelartion. And sooo much smoother. The spark plugs were dead. And labour quality way better then lexus. Its like new again. But still missing an extra 100kw. Hmm. Might have to start looking for that.

So today, I and a few others got an invite to a pre launch exclusive sneak peak at the GS350 f-sport. And a big thanks to the invitee!! and future communication offers will be definitely taken up upon!! For a while now ive been contimplating between an IS-F and the new GS350 f-sport. I must say. (without even driving the GS) The Refinement, technology and finesse of the GS and hearing about its handling features, Easily, out weighs the power, smallness and older technology of the ISF. Some say Grandpa's Saloon. . . . maybe the old GS. but not this new Grand Sport. its more like Great Sex!! First Impression as i walked in the door was wow. The images DO NOT do this stylish luxury sports car justice! next. That arse... its not what people say it looks great!! Then I open the drivers door and sit in the seat, special? Yes. And then you touch her and switch her on . . . the seat litterally hugs you. the sides come in and hold you in the seat.. ... real nice touch. The drivers position and leather dash layout is reallly really nice. and the heads up display if you havent used it before isnt as obtrusive as you would imagine. The dash nav/ media centre is really something special its got it all and screen has great resolution. Iphone bluetooth streaming one of the major great features. The ever controversial foot park brake - Removed!! Electronic automatic park brake now standard. BI- HID headlights- great streamlining idea of the head light assembally. Leather- when you hear red leather you think hmm - when you see it online you go hmm - when you see it in the car you go THATS HOT! Locking and unlocking has a great new feature. instead of the locking button on the door you just have to touch a spot on the the door handle. Great for lighter coloured cars! Back seat room and comfort is as good as if not better then the LS comfort and room not compromised at all very comfy. The new spindal front grill is Aggressive yet stylish. Cruise control - auto radar cruise control now works from 0km/h That means peak hour traffic you dont have to touch the pedals!!!! I honeslty thought the clock in the middle of the dash was soooo old man style. but it actually blends well with the technological instrumentation... Eco mode transmission - adjusts aircon and transmission to achieve best economical driving normal mode - lexus awesome standard driving s-mode - adjusts engine and transmission for a more sportier response S+ mode - aadjusts engine and transmission for a more sportier response and turns on adaptive variable suspension (AVS) and crisps up the cars suspention behaviour massively for that very spirited driving that fully utilises that 233kws. The list goes on and on and im sure a few others can ad to this and tell you even more!! In short without driving it. I prefer it over an isF (personally angling toward a finesse as well as power (not just power orientated) All i can say is check it out when it comes out!! You will not be disapointed in the lexus awesomeness!!

Michael, The license plate globes are LED/ SMD already. Probably for that exact reason. in accesibility!!

there is only one speaker under the vents on the parcel shelf and its the sub. this is dual voice coil explained. have a google search there is heaps explaining it

No only one but it has 2 channels going to it because its a dual core speaker (2 in 1)

well what do ya know. a little more research and suprise suprise i found an answer. quote- Hey, I actually added an amp for an extra sub on my old 2008 IS250 and know what colors are what. Assuming the 2006 is the same, and that you have the regular Sound System, the colors you are looking for are: Channel 1 = Brown (+) & Green (-) Channel 2 = Pink (+) & Light Blue (-) As you can see, the Sub has actually two channels (it is a dual-coil subwoofer) running at 2 Ohms each channel. You MUST tap on both channels to keep balance on the load, otherwise, your stock sub will die rather quick, same thing with the amp. Because both channels use the same signal (basically two mono channels) you can combine them if you have a one channel mono amp for your setup. Otherwise, just use each channel separately. I am now waiting for a free time on a weekend to repeat the setup for my new 2011 IS350… I just hope the colors are the same… __________________

So. Ive done quite a few aftermarket stereos in my time. BUT. Can anyone with a service manual or any general knowledge tell me why the SUB woofer in my 250 has 4 wires going to it without removing the whole sub to inspect its bulild construction (im adding an additional sub and AMP not changing the oem)? From what i can see but cant be sure is... its just for the excessive current and they have been paralleled up. So.... who knows what???
