AFS. It has come and gone in models throughout the years. Some of the other boys will be able to tell you more but generally. Anything above prestige will have it.

Lexus of Chatswood Service Centre sponsors Australian Lexus Owners Club with discount serviving to ALOC members. http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10632 Contact Sid and tell him your part of the ALOC and you saw the discount servicing ad on the forum. He will also be able to do diagnostics (Your local mechanic is limited to access to these things) to see if there is any glitches in your computer causing your power losses. He can reset software and make sure air fuel ratio etc etc etc is as it should be. Good Luck Chris

Its not entirely necessary to remove lock mechanism cables or the courtest lamp. It gives u more room though if you wish. All cables are copper but may have an anti corrosion in the sheath as some do to prevent water and electrical corrosion. This maybe what made it feel funny. In the instructions on page 4 it states the two different types of plugs plug A may be. But i agree with cocconut. Quite simple and easy to install. I can help ppl install it if you wish just send me a pm.

Hey Guys, At the Dyno Day last weekend i purchased an Auto mirror closer from ASHPOINT, The kit is awesomely simple and took me about an hour to install. What it does is automatically folds the mirrors when you lock the car in any way. Then when you unlock it, the mirrors open to their normal position!! It comes with step by step instructions and relatively easy to install. (all you need is a soldering iron and a set of wire cutters) You also have the option of not folding them by pressing unlock - lock within 1 second. and also the other way around if you wish to leave them closed when you approach the locked car (Lock unlock within 1 second. note: they then open upon ignition starting.) The halogen lights that are already there probably pull more current then the ballast for the HID's

negligible. The head light circuit is already dedicated to headlights. xenon or halogen. the thread u were reading was a set of HID cevu had. it had a dodgy ballast within his fog light installation. nothing to do with load or relays that werent installed. you will have no issues at all if you use the headlights circuit already there in a plug and play kit.

Nope. I didnt. And i dont think anyone else has either. The kits are generally plug and play.

The guys are right. Although if you had gone up the road to Mercedes i think you would be more disapointed overall. Not just a little radio problem that Lexus WILL resolve with minimal impact to you and your convenience. Your in the best hands any service department in the world can give you!!! no doubt about it!!

Yes there was!! 5Zigen exhaust surged. a newly installed takeda intake (5mins before) took the title. and i think it coulda gone more !!!!! big fancy wheels with wrong tire sizes and speedos out paid the price for bling Greddy didnt get a chance to run nor did fsport. or fsport+invidia. Interesting day!!
