Was it at a lexus service centre trying to get you to buy OEM. It all depends what you buy. hard, soft, intermediate, race. Generally an OEM equivalent will not accelerate disc wear any more then an OEM pad

It will only void warranty if that part is found to have caused the problem that has occured on your car. Now giving an engine more air is not going to hurt it or the rest of the car as long as its filtered air. its a risk most people take as a different filter isnt going to affect much of your warranty claims.

If lexus fit it, warranty is not voided. But they will only fit Lexus Australia approved parts ie F-sport gear
