  3. thanks man, yeah that was the idea and i was panicking over the offsets but they look awesome.
  4. It would look really nice dropped so hot but i dont wanna loose the ride comfort anymore. i love the way it is now and i wrecked my is200 by dropping it. (IMO) Ima leave it stock hight. . . . . (i also said id leave stock wheels. . . . and stock headlights. . . and stock dash . . . and leave car stock. . . it was supposed to stay totally stock . . . hmmm) coilovers? who knows what the future may hold for the car and my wallet.
  5. HEY GUYS Most of you have seen my mods so far. well i have done a few more and have a few more still to come. I recently put on some weather visors and biggest mod of all so far 18" aftermarket (G2) rims with yokohamas. and a close up of the visors I got the rims from a place at peakhurst. CAR LINK AUTO. Where there is another photo of the car.
  6. bit more advise I just bout 18's with dunlops for 1550 (aftermarket) i have the exact same wheels as you in same condition with pirrelli p7 80% tread left and from previous experience on selling 16s. i had my old IS200 ones for sale for 2 and a half years and got 350 for them and they had pirelli p6000. (awesome tyre). Its good to hear your not in a hurry. good luck.
  7. its all good in the long run. ive actually got a vision of where i want my car to end up now cos of the meets
  8. lol i been thinking about couple things for ages now and then when i see them im like . . . its time to buy haha meets turn into expensive exercises.
  9. guys I have accidentally bought TWO sets of window visors off ebay. the problem is i only have one car. If any one is interested and wants a set for $50 bucks i paid 60 USD let me know and ill drop them off to you. JDM visors

  11. i knoooow its soooo addictive i love it.... i just wish i had more spare cash for mods.
  12. its because of the last meet that i have things to show off lol. these meets are awesome but become expensive lol.
  13. LOL truck.... smallest of mistakes makes a whole world of a different meaning. its the only reason i opened the thread to see what a truck spoiler would be doing on a lexus. as for trunk or boot lip. im not a fan so me 5 cents ends here. good truck ... oops good luck
  14. Thanks for the heads up?!?!...............please brother...........you have had your HIDS installed for what, 3-4 years now J!! I understand that the Ballasts put some heat out, but please, the engine bay gets hot in general. (nah) HV electrical noise, perhaps (but unlikely in my opinion).....................HV arcing from the ballast, hmmm......unlikely. In a nut shell, doubt it. you're right, i've had them in for 3.5 years and no dramas but like dan said, its better to know than be clueless. i did however have a steering problem but lexus said it was a failure on the magnets or something and was NOT related to the hids at all. steering was not possessed in this case. more like a car without power steering but worse..... anyhow, lexus fixed it without any dramas and that was about 18 months ago. no dramas since. its electrical inductance. what happens is there is so much current running through the ballast it creates like an electrical magnetic field around it. . . in turn messes with all other electronic components near it. Can cause faults that are invisible to find.
  15. sounds shadey..... :-) j/k only when your invovled lol i been thinking about it. . . . where is this shadey carpark gonna be lol. ive got room on my backseat for a jumper incase it gets cool. lol.
  16. wow, suddenly i feel like i've overpaid. lol..... toyo transpath (TASW) are a great tire. the asymetric pattern gives a nice quite ride. and nice and soft even for 18's i think they were about 200 - 220 (225/18). i cant remember but it was a while ago now so prices probably changed. awesome tyre. basically anything toyo is great. asymetrical and/or japanese also really helps.
  17. guys hasnt broken yet but im a little worried my window wont go up one day soon as occasionally when i put is up the motor seems to be labouring and making a loud noise. has any one experienced this or problems with power windows? Does anyone know what it costs for a new motor. Thanks.
  18. One thing will happen. you will get awesome sexy lighting compared to OEM. Acro lighting .com Lex was a great help.
  19. thanks mate, danny said the same thing so i'll check that. cheers, yeah the guys are right. it may be an internal ballast fault also. try just one hid kit to narrow it down first.
  20. I think another meet is in need. id like to see things like this in real time up close and compare to OEM lol. photos dont do it justice. what costs are we looking at shipped and through who? installation easy?
  21. Id like to second that. before readings joms post i was thinking the same thing. another sticker designer perhaps?
