  1. loool. 35% is legal. I have 20% fully metalised film. And that is very very dark But there are people or one person in particular that we all know has 5% and its rediculously dark. My advise is dont go crazy dark cos cops have a machine now. Big defect job.
  2. You will def get done still. May even get done with blue if they wanna be a bitch.
  3. Hahaha. They were like ten bucks on ebay. Its just a vinal sticker. I really like them.
  4. the day my car got creamed i put these blue fog light tints on. i like them.
  5. i think it may have to do something with the high ambient temp over there! for sure a 350 will still own this setup any day of the week but for those of us who have moddded our car a lot it's an alternative to retain all our mods. might not be a 350, but is as close as we're gonna' get! It's also only 280kw with there headers otherwise it's only about 240KW! not that thats not good, but just so everyones aware. i enquired but from what i was told they are still working on producing the kit for sale as well as DIY manual! If i wasnt saving for a house at the moment id still consider it. . . like you said in the 350 thread, the gap between 250 and 350 is a bit much although refined still large gap. but for 10k. power to dolllar ratio sounds impressive.
  6. k2sty1 im not a fan of turbo, i dont think it would suit a lexus sleek style either. im driving a supercharged v6 commodore atm and love the surge in power and no stupid ricer psh pshh just raw power. makes a big difference to stock engine. to have that on the 250 with 280kw (claimed) that would be awesome.
  7. If i had a lazy 8200 dollars i would seriously consider this. IS350 228kw (approx) supercharged IS250 280kw. allthough 350 more refined. i dont have 90k to buy one. more likely to pay 10k for my low km 250 and have a power house under the bonnet. ?? its still alot of money 10k. but so is 90k and i love my 250. so.... hmmm
  8. SOLD!!
  9. guys and girls just wondering who you insure your cars with. also what are you's paying and age (if you dont mind disclosing of course) im 23, in south west sydney (low crime area) and paying $2100 with gio. recent experience shows they are a good company but since being taken over by suncorp (also owns AAMI . . . ) they have become a lower end company instead of the big helpfull company they used to be. dont get me wrong they look after you, just alot more running around for THEM if you have any issues. (accident). The only reason im with them is i got a family discount thingy thanks to my dad. but now i have my own rating looking at better insurers. Any Information would be great. Thanks.
  10. Awesome car by the sounds of things. although i dont think people will pay (IMO). people will, but i dont think there will be a flood of them. I wish i could afford one but the only one ill be getting is a pre thrashed . . . i mean pre loved. (at the moment. and there are none of them at the moment)
  11. forum dead anyways. did you guys hear they are bringing IS350 to aus!!
  12. I dont just do it for the simple fact that i want to do research and get the right thing and make sure its perfect. i cant stand spending heaps of money and it not be perfect..... im a perfectionist i cant decide and do. especially when alot of money involved
  13. Firmed the place danny? everyone making time for the meet?
  14. hhmmmm.... mature way? no disrespect but thats a crock of sh*t. its thinking like that that separates the way young p plater generation to the current generation. when everyone keeps telling them they can't it no doubt causes them to turn a blind eye to what the older generation think and be the way they are. not all of them, but everyone knows what i mean. whats up with everyone? we need to cut the kid some slack! he bought the topic up in a mature and sensible way. he clearly stated that he was waiting till his fulls before he would MAYBE get one of these cars but he also said it was unlikely so its not like he's bragging! he'll not only have enough driving experience but also a couple of more years or maturity so he's got just as much right to drive one of these cars as anyone else! hell, i've seen ppl well over 30 who still drive like morons! trust me, i'm a courier so i spend 60+ hours a week on the road and its not the P platers that are the problem regardless of how much the media/law enforcement makes it out to be! its the asians who can't drive (i'm asian so you can't flame me! and i don't mean all of them, you all know the ones i'm talking about!), old ppl who take up more than 1 lane to drive/turn, travel 20kms under the limit forcing ppl to go around them, merging without indicating, failing to give way, etc etc..... when i'm in a rush i just sit behind a p plater at the lights! light goes green and they move immediately because they are paying attention, we travel up to the limit, i look behind and theres no less than 10 car spaces between me and the next car! Than ppl wonder why traffic is so congested! what does leaving a car stock prove??? i must be missing the point??? that you commited to having a stock car for 3 + years....?? 3.5 years and the cars old enough for essential mods? how essential could they be if you waited 3 years! hhhmmmm....... wheels and a drop within 3 weeks isn't exactly record speed! your post should have said 3years 3 weeks for wheels and a drop! long story short, it's supposed to a friendly forum and community and we're all here to share a passion for our cars, not shoot ppl down! +1 well said did you guys hear the IS350 is coming to aus :P
  15. i was gonna say the same! not sure how he would have done it himself in the garage? yea true but "stuff" as he also said can be done at home too depending on the "stuff"
  16. in your garage or driveway. have a go man. its easy.
  17. na dont wanna do springs waste of money cos its only half of what i want. well see when i get my car back. . . one day. . . paint shop yesterday. hopefully not long now.
  18. duuuude. its alot of money shhhhh! . . . . group buy? lol
  19. the Silvers NEOMAX reviews that i was looking at getting. the guys said they can be as soft as you like and there was no bottoming out and was way softer then stock. and camber adjust simple.
  20. lol first group buy id actually be in on and no go lol? would you be in terrry. you want more low justin and justin? Jom, lowered but soft would you be in? FrankyX? atlantis? Dennis? Jake you got any cars you want lowered? who else? Any lower on my car now and i'll have camber issues i recon. I can't afford coilover, had it been from the start i would have gone 19s and coils. Be aware of camber chris, u need coils if u wanted go lower..and that means $$. yeah i know but the good coilovers can get camber pillow tops also (i dont think an inch all round is gonna affect the tires tho). not droping on springs only. to hard a ride.
