Chris, how's the navigation with the AU maps like? Jom, to be honest i havent had much time with it yet. ive been in my work car too much lately and had no time with the lexus. i will keep you posted but im pretty sure you can run like tom tom on it as well.

F3nix does your auto recycle / fresh air vent keep switching off auto when you switch car on and off. Little annoying. Hope its a software issue that can be updated.

The part in bold, apart from being superfluous to the rest of the statement, sounds like you're REALLY DEFINATELY trying to get us to believe you. Not saying I don't, I actually do. However there will be more to the price than just discount, something like the scenario explained below perhaps. So RRP on an IS250 Sports Lux is $84,914. A 28% discount will leave you with a balance of $61,138.08 Now without a trade in....that is not possible as a straight out cash price. You'll get that level of discount when the following happens With a trade in then things are different. It is financially beneficial to write the price of both the new car and the trade down from what they really are. For example: An $80,000 IS250 with a trade in worth $30,000 is a $50,000 balance. However if you write the trade in at only $20,000($10k less than its real value) and drop the new car by the same $10,000 then the balance should still be $50,000 right? Wrong... It will be less than $47,000. Because you're paying Luxury Car Tax(33%) on $70k instead $80k. 33% of $10,000 the tax department now doesn't get. If you write your $30k trade even lower at $10k($20k below value) then the new car also drops $20k plus the nearly $7,000 tax saved. So your $80,000 new car now appears on the invoice at $53,000 .which is a price that could never be achieved without the write down on the trade in. When doing this though you are at risk of falling foul with the Tax Office. ROFL love it. can definately tell you, complex but simple. around about way. lol the month is getting on

There isnt alot you can do. the best most powerful mod you can do to the is200's is a cat back exhaust. anything else you do will be more expensive with little gain. Good luck

thank God for that....I was getting a bit concerned. I love my IS250. It's one of the best cars I've ever owned (and I've owned quite a few), but seriously....why is anyone concerned with its performance? For a 1600kg car with a 2.5l engine I think it goes very well and returns excellent fuel consumption, at the same time offering a very quiet and luxurious ride with just about every gadget known to man....and all this with fantastic fit, finish and reliability. IMO that's what this car is about and it's the reason I bought it. If you want a performance car and you're worried about the 0-100 times (or any other performance figures) then I think you're looking at the wrong car. Just my opinion, of course. So sorry k2sty1, but I really think if these are the important issues to you, then maybe you need to get a Porsche. WELL said couldnt agree more Aircon. perhaps you should wait for the IS350 k2sty1

slight correction also id like to know where you found an extra two gears lol. The whole thing would be reversed. The 430 would putt putt away from an IS250 in top gear using its torque lol

I just held it in 8th gear and let the torque do the work. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/

It will be third i think. havent really noticed and i dont think any one really does there are more important things coming towards you faster and faster. I think this is what DIS-LEX-SIC is getting at (?????) its not something on ppls minds when your driving it as you will see when you get yours.

Oh and cheer up its all going to be ok lol. i know how deppressing imperfections can be in your pride and joy but its all fixable

this is true ive heard of these lol. whats a little beep anyway. lexus is a luxury toyota and is pretty awesome effort by toyota considering what they produce.
