  1. Hi mate, i had a similar dilemma this year when our 09 IS250 was written off.  After test driving the RC350F, IS350, and ISF.  I ended up going the ISF, whilst the layout of the interior is the same as my old IS250, the red leather seats, carbon bits, and that amazing cluster truly makes it something special.  It was miles ahead on the RC350/IS350 in driving pleasure, and that sound.  Being a daily it's a bit thirsty but not as thirsty as my old RX350 in city traffic, and to be honest it's 100% worth it.  If you haven't taken one for a test drive I suggest you do so.

  2. I did something similar, that is go from a my09 is250 to my13 ISF after evaluating all the variations of rc350/3is.  You won't regret it, I love the rarity and how familiar yet different it was to my old IS.  I've described it to my friends as driving a very pissed off version of my old is, the thing just wants to launch and pin you back.  I've owned a lot of fast cars but the isf is something completely unexpected from a Lexus.

Back to your post though, sounds like you already know the differences, I would look for a 2012+ ISF with BBS's unless you have plans to change rims (in which case a 2011 would be just as good minus the Bluetooth streaming).

  3. Heya guys, thought i'd post some pics from All Japan Day in Adelaide yesterday. Was an awesome turnout, and finally we represented Lexus with an is200, is250, is350, isf, and of course the lfa. Some other great cars there too with tons of classics.

    Cheers
