Well I think the car could do with a bit of a lift, visually, and it will be some years before I replace it. So if I can get this done for a reasonably outlay I'll have several years of a better looking car. I think it's worthwhile provided I don't have to sell a kidney to achieve it. :)

While I haven't found the window surround chrome bits for the 06-09 RX350.. plenty for 2010 RX350 though... I did manage to find Chrome door handles

But guess what, found out that overseas they do have OEM Mudflaps to suit the RX330/RX350. If you're interested, the part number is #08414-48820.

Also found them on some of the lexus dealer sites in the USA. I like the OEM fitment on them, they look quite nice, I'll put in an order in a couple of weeks so will report back on them.

Never mind, my dealer showed me how to do it. You have to insert the key and hold it in the close position for a few seconds.. can't do it from the remote.

Hi guys,

New owner of a 2006 rx350 here.. so sorry if this is a really silly question. I've read the owners manual and it shows you how to wind down the windows/moonroof with your remote by holding the unlock button for a couple of seconds. But then how do you get it to wind up again? If i hold the lock button too long it just goes into alarm panic mode.

Is that right? Or did they remove the speakers from the EMV package in 2010?

Ah thanks for the info. Shame that only the f-sport 350 gets the ML, I can't really justify the added 8k for that package at the moment.

I might have seen the same photos, that's the one going around lexus's offices at the moment? I believe it outline some changes for the august production like removal of passenger seat memory features on luxury, removal of rear blinds on luxury, I believe HID is now an option on prestige 250 and standard on prestige 350, all i can remember for now.

The ML system sounds nice! Do you know if the current prestige with the EMV package gets the ML system?

Just a quick question for you guys...

What would you personally go for and why? A 2010 update IS250 F-Sport with sunroof for around 72-74k, or a 2010 update IS350 Prestige with EMV/sunroof for around 80k?

I'm thinking about resale value and plan to own it for some period of time (3-5yrs), I also don't mind a bit of power but at the same time I love the look of the new F-Sport (especially with those hot shadow chrome rims).

Edit: also, sorry to sound like a n00b.. but what's ML mentioned above stand for?

Love the idea of the ISF seats for the F-Sport. That'd be a nice little touch.

They had that in the 09' Aussie F-Sport as well.. the seats feel awesome.

Hey guys new to the forum, I just went to buy a new 2010 IS250 F sport auto...

List price was $77488 and was offered $74500 drive away with the EOFS specials...

I didnt think it was very special...

Just as a reference, I was offered a 09 plate IS250 F-Sport Auto for $68k back in Feb, so I don't think the current deals are anything to get excited about.

I was calling Lexus dealers in Sydney for a 30K service quote today & mentioned that my car feels like it wants to stall when idling at times... I was describing this issue and the first thing he asked was what fuel I was using??!

This car has only ever had V-Power & done 22K

Then he goes that if you use E10 it will go away! All the cars they have there are all fueled up with E10 & don't have this problem.

I was thinking to myself WTF??

I reckon he's sniffing a bit too much of E10. Seriously doubt by downgrading your fuel will your problems go away.

Has anyone hear about the factory unadjustable values of castor figures. My reading from Jaxx are 7.68 (LT)7.76 (RT).

They told me these figures are factory locked in to cater for unlevel roads (slantly roads that caters for rain water running to the sides). They said if the car is completely on level ground then the car will not pull to the left.

You might want to have a look at your air flow sensor, give it a quick spray with electrical cleaning fluid. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to do.. at least you'll be able to rule that out quickly.
