ok checked out an invoice from ultra tune - 6.50 litres of magnatec pro 10w -30 as i said i got no problem with ultra tune

ill have to ask autotune about the amount of oil and type - iva had the carbon build up cleaned about 20000 klm ago - im going to get the motul its the same oil i used to use in my rexy

Hi All, Ive read a few threads on oil comsumption in is250's Model : is250 2006 klms - 138,000 klms i get the car serviced every 10,000klms instead of every 15,000klms at ulta tune who have serviced a few cars of mine and ive been very happy with them which has been alright except when i went over 100,000klms and ive had to top up the oil about 7000 - 8000 klms which im fine with got the car serviced at 131,000 and i had to top up at 136,000 and now the oil light come up again at 138,000 i just topped up with caltex 10-30w after the last service i told the machanic that it was using a bit of oil and he suggested we use 10-40w - what do you guys recommend i do? and what oil to use im more then happy to purchase the oil my self and get the machnic to do the servicing thanks in advance

got mine checked - they tightened everything up and the noise is gone now - didnt charge me either :)

undo you battery and leave it 10 seconds and re connect see if it goes away if not you will have to take it to lexus and get them to put the computer on it

ive got king super lows in mine and its started to do it, i have to take it this week to a suspension place to get looked at

yeah thats what i thought - the dual core makes it sound loud and basey

yeah im in 2 minds what to do - as i dont want to put holes in anywhere or have a sub box in the boot as its small enough as is - i dontknow about you guys but the stock sub sounds fine to me? maybe im getting old damn it :(

after owning a wrx with alot of work done and a exhaust system that was louder then god throwing thunderbolts at earth, i cant bring myself to getting a exhaust on my is250 just doesnt soundloud enough - if it sounded like a v8 after i would consider it thanks for the videos

ok well i found this out - to try and fit a aftermarkey sub is a pain in the ass cause you need a new amp. the guy i took it to is going to silicon the sub to see if it fixs it. if not i'll be replaing it with the same speaker from toyota- its about $650 fitted

my sub just *BLEEP* its self as well, im going to get the same size speaker fitted i had a quick look in the boot you will have to take the lining off under the subs to get to it

1) Are these cars reliable? mine is ive had 3 lexus wont buy another make of car again 2) Are servicing costs expensive compared to say my MPS being around 250 - 300 for a normal service and 400 + for a major? i get mine done at ultra tune they are pretty reasonable 3) What common problems are there with them, and are these prblems expensive to repair? none i cant think of 4) What problems and things should i be looking for when looking for my car, Anything to beware of? 5) What model has the most stylish kit? See pic below of the body kit i do like, Is this aftermarket? not into body kits might consider a boot spolier a small one 6) What springs get the drop like that pic, but offer a good ride quality, dont care about cost? i got king springs and they are perfect - wheel size is 20x8.5 on the front 20x10 on the back 7) Anything else you might want to add? get one you will love it i have a pearl white it took me 6 months to find it

hey guys, from memory they get the sunroofs installed in australia - only one companie does it for lexus, when i had my is200 i had problems with the sunroof and lexus told me it was the motor - i rang the sunroof place and they told me how to do the reset- http://www.webasto.com.au/home/ena/html/homepage.html :)

you need new globes mine was doing this - they arent hard to replace i brought mine from japan

yeah i think the gloss looks heaps better - i think the audi s3 wagon has a gloss finish on the roof it looks unreal

yeah i remember seeing these when i was there ( friend of mine owns the moorebank store ) they look great on bmw's as well

looks awesome - i realy like the rims you get them from ozzy tyres?

got one quote back almost 2k the f**kwit scratched my rim as well

some ass hole ran into me today - looks like off to the repair shop for me as well
