Nope, got aftermarket rims, Vertini magic but still 19inch.
Im sure its standard height but still reasonably low as most IS F's are from factory. The ride is a bit bumpy so i dont want to contribute anymore to that.
I was sure 265/35 would fit on the rear but Ozzy was trying to convince me otherwise telling me id still need to roll the guards and go down in profile to 265/30 which i didnt think sounded right.
I got my tyres from Tempe Tyres, I rang them for the same question you are asking when I upgraded to 19" with wider tyres.
Over the phone they asked me for the rim size & offset and told me exactly the max tyre size I can go.
When fitting the tyres, they checked my ride height to make sure no scrubbing and offered me free swap if it scrubs after fitting in the same day.

Are you running on the stock 19" rim? And is your car at stock height or lowered?
I have a IS250 with 19x9.5 R19 +45 rear rim and 265/35 R19 rear tyre, slightly lowered on coilovers, no scrubbing at all, so no need guard rolling. Not sure about 275 wide.

Im done with PPE with my is250, after 6 moths custom with FHC +stock catalytic converter+ invidia resonator+ greedy catback( cost 6 month to work out this package sound I love). Worth and you would like it.
- PPE+HFC+Stock catalytic converter_ invidia resonator+ greedy muffler. best sound. littler louder than 3rd.
If someone like most loud with cheap package. go for stock header with Invidia mid+invidia catback. (no flat sound but too loud I dont prefer)
Jerry, I've got invidia mid and greedy sp3 on my already, thinking about getting the PPE. So what do you mean by HFC? And is your setup bolt-on or require fabrication/welding?

I'm sure there will be a sub forum for the turbo variant. I can imaging some of the discussion topics will be quite different to the NA. BOOST!

-Hi guys,
Just wondering did you guys get the rotten egg smell when at high revs with your stock mid pipe and now with your new invidia mid pipe got rid of that smell.
no more smell after the mid-pipe and it gives you a slight deeper exhaust tone

I see, unfortunately I'm in Sydney... how hard is it to DIY?

Hi mate,
With the Overhead console sunglass holder, I thought our AUDM 2IS can't install it because the sun roof circuit is in this compartment.
So you can actually convert it to a sunglass holder on our car? If so, I'm very interested, please let me know the price. I'm in NSW.
Cheers

Nice if there is no drone. Come join our next club meet and let's hear it. I think there is a meet coming up in July/August.
-
Congrats on your new mod. But does it drone at low rev?
I have a IS250, tried a few aftermarket system before, all too droning with my invidia mid-pipe.

I moved to breakfast point now but still quite close by. I'll drop by say hi.

Hi Alex, I just PM you about your stock suspension.Hi Everyone,
I have a set of front and rear shocks and springs from Run out 2011 IS250 (prestige), pulled them out and replaced with KW coilovers January 2012. Have been in my shed since then laying on their sides. Usage about 100 Kilometres before I dropped the Kw's in.
Are they still of any use and any idea of value to sell?
thanks
Alex

Ok, I'll do some research and we can share notes.

So much for a complimentary car wash...good luck mate
mine done last week but they washed it and scratched the roof, few scratches :( next time i will tell them not to wash the car.
regards
The guys at Chatswood Lexus are quite all right, but they did washed my already perfectly cleaned car last time and return a half wet car to me. Not letting them wash again this time.

Hi Guys, I've booked my car in for a regular service next week at Chatswood Lexus.
Since I haven't received any calls from Lexus about the recall, I'll ask the service center to rectify this recall while my car is there. Let's see what happens.
-
So did you guys end up getting this to work? Need to change my HID bulb soon, wanting to get this mod done while the headlight and bumper are off.
Lexus Oz Recall 10,000 Cars
in Lexus IS250 / Lexus IS250C / Lexus IS350 / Lexus IS350C Club / Lexus IS-F / IS300h

Just want to give Lexus Chatswood a BIG thumbs up for their excellent service as always! Definitely makes me a loyal customer to Lexus, especially the Chatswood dealership.
I called them two weeks ago for the fuel pressure sensor recall, and asked for a courtesy car. Since the recall is performed for free standalone, I thought the dealers would try to up sell something to you like "why don't you do a service while you at it" so they can charge you back. But the girl on the phone was very friendly, no muck around and being very patience with me to book in for the earliest time slot. Also ensuring me the recall is free of charge.
A week ago she called me again and offered to pickup my car from my home or work then drop it off back to me afterwards, so it saves me spending time drive to the service centre. So I said why not!
So this morning an old gentlemen from Lexus picked up my car from Sydney CBD where I work and left me a 3IS 350 F sport as courtesy car for the day. And he returned the car back to me in the afternoon with a complimentary car wash! Everything free of charge.
The whole experience is very professional and polite. Colleagues at work own Porsche, BMW and Audi are now very envy the Lexus customer service.
Great job Lexus Chatswood.
