    http://www.megaweb.gr.jp/About/en.html

MEGA WEB is a theme park where visitors can “see, ride, and feel.”

There are three pavilions designed to experience each theme showcasing cars.

The TOYOTA CITY SHOWCASE is where Toyota’s new models debut first. Take a test-ride and learn about Toyota’s initiatives in the fields of hybrids, safety, and the environment.

The TOYOTA UNIVERSAL DESIGN SHOWCASE displays cars with universal design and their commercial goods.

Enjoy an experience of personal mobility and other future technologies here.

    Don't miss the LEXUS gallery.

The HISTORY GARAGE exhibits historic cars from Toyota and other makes around the world.

We have events in every Saturday, Sunday and national holidays.

Enjoy this car theme park with family and friends.

English- and Chinese-speaking staff members are available to help you if you need translation service during your tour.

  2. Not what you want to read if you've just bought a new Infiniti.

Or spent millions setting up a new Infiniti dealership.

From the SMH Drive website as reported from the Detroit motorshow

    http://smh.drive.com...0124-2d98b.html

“Very frankly, very candidly, we don't need Infiniti, we just don't need that brand.”

That's what Nissan executive vice-president Andy Palmer told US site Wards Auto at the Detroit motor show last week.

Palmer says he warned Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn he should kill off the luxury brand, and Ghosn was close to doing so.

“Mr Ghosn challenged me and said, 'We don't have to do Infiniti, you can cancel it if you want.' ”

Palmer spoke openly of the fact that Infiniti cars hadn't been built to the same standards as European luxury makes.

“[infiniti has] nice premium cars, but frankly, [they're] kind of discount,” he was quoted as saying. “And we've been selling those cars over a period of 23 years with a Nissan-push mentality.”

But Palmer said he believed things were set to change under the watch of former Audi US boss Johan de Nysschen.

The brand has ambitious plans to replace its ageing fleet. Infiniti showcased perhaps its most important model at the Detroit motor show this year, the new Q50 sedan. That car rivals the likes of the BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

At the reveal of that car, de Nysschen told Drive the brand needs to think outside of the US if it wants to grow to be a truly global player in the luxury car market, particularly with the rest of the high-end makers moving to downsized engines.

Although its clear that they will stick around, their lack of commitment to the brand is not good to read for owners of the cars or employees working for them.

  3. Car submerged at Fishermans Beach

    570922-underwater-car.jpg

A CAR that can't swim and isn't wearing a life jacket is in deep water off the boat ramp at Fishermans Beach.

The white sedan, believed to be a Lexus, was totally submerged by 8.45am - and the tide is rising, The Manly Daily reports.

Northern Beaches duty officer Insp Graeme Pickering said the driver of the car, a Curl Curl man, drove down the ramp at 12.30am today to be closer to the water.

He said that when the driver applied the brake at the foot of the boat ramp, the car failed to stop and slid into the water. The driver couldn't open the door of his car and had to climb out the window.

Insp Pickering said that when the police arrived, the car was completely submerged but the headlights were still on.

He said police divers were on their way to Collaroy. After the divers place a hook around the car, it will be towed ashore.

  4. so far

what i have done and been able to get

    99K for 450h SL

    89K for 450H F sport

$89K is about $8k off the F-sport. That's pretty accurate Danny.

Although there are other variables that will affect the deal. Whether you finance the full amount or just the change over can make a difference. As can how long you take the loan over.

Getting stock at the moment is the issue as 2.9% has been pretty successful. Some model/colour combinations sold out for 2.9%.

  5. II've searched all over the net to try and find solutions to this for us here in Australia, but it appears that we Australian's have been screwed somehow as the US and other country CT200H have BLUETOOTH STREAMING

Aust CT200h's have Bluetooth streaming NOW.

Is that your only gripe. Two posts...same complaint.

Be nice to hear what you "love" about the car instead.

2 Workers Injured After Lexus S.U.V. Falls Down Elevator Shaft

    17cityroom-car-blog480.jpg

Firefighters worked to extract a Lexus sport-utility vehicle that fell down a parking-garage elevator on East 76th Street in Manhattan. Two people were injured.

Two parking-garage workers were injured on Tuesday morning when a sport-utility vehicle plunged down an elevator shaft in an Upper East Side garage.

Fire Department officials said a parking attendant behind the wheel of a Lexus RX 350 apparently plowed through the doors to the elevator on the fifth floor of the garage, on 76th Street near First Avenue. The sport-utility vehicle landed upside down on top of an elevator car on the ground floor that had another worker, Angel Rosa, 53, inside.

“You heard the big rumbling and then boom,” said Christopher Conroy, who works at a Hertz location at the garage.

Mr. Rosa, who hurt both his legs but otherwise was not seriously injured, deemed himself lucky to be alive. “I’ll be O.K.,” he said, adding of the vehicle’s plunge, “It felt like it was a bomb.”

Firefighters had to extricate the other worker, who was not identified, from the sport-utility vehicle; his injuries were not life threatening. Both men were hospitalized. Firefighters eventually affixed a cable to the sport-utility vehicle and dragged it onto the sidewalk in front of the garage, where it was hauled away on a flat bed.
