does anybody know if the qi wireless charger work with the iPhone 6 Plus (with a Qi sleeve of course)? The phone doesn't quite fit into the tray, not sure if it needs to make contact with the tray for charging or not.

how do you make the Home screen be the default screen? with my car its always the map screen that gets shown first every time i start the car, i want it to be the home screen.

argh damn it, i wonder if there's anyway to somehow install the US software onto our Aus spec NX's to enable not just this but also speed limit warnings on the HUD

and how do you activate siri from the steering wheel? is it even possible?

@Bazza I completely agree and do want this feature, but I won't be holding my breath. Even if we manage to pressure them into enabling it, chances are they'd only do so on new model and leave us existing owners out. They introduced lane guidance in the 2012 IS but did not make it available it in the 2011 IS (same shape, same hardware, same everything) Mind you, my 2011 IS doesn't even have speed camera and red light camera warnings, most portable satnavs have had this feature since the early 2000s.

@cssaus I can understand why they have the school zone warnings on all the time, because school zone speed limits in Canada are applicable 24/7, but dear lord, Idon't need to hear the nagging every single time I'm approaching a school, a simple chime would have been enough

All, how do you register your enform services? I picked up my NX last weekend and don't think it is enabled! Also, is there anyway to turn off them speed/red light camera and school zone warnings? there annoying as hell

picked up my new NX Sports Luxury last week and i can confirm that speed alert is not available in Australia, even for 2016 build (my car is 01/2016 plated) however, it does have speed camera, red light camera and school zone warnings, the latter only comes up if your speed is > 40kmh approaching a school zone. These types of warning are not available at all with my 2011 IS250, I do find these warnings pretty annoying though lol, not sure if there's a way to turn them off. Very satisfied with the car!

Hi guys, I just realised the AWD drive train on the NX200t is on demand only, it's only engaged when the computer detects front wheel slip is detected. Do you know if we can somehow have it on all the time? Can't wait to pick up my NX, placed the order on Sunday, it's going to be a loooong 6 month wait :)

it adjusts the headlights' levelling. Generally i don't think we need to care much about it, it basically either raises or drop the headlight beams..

this also applies to the MY11 IS250 as I experienced last night after some revving :( this is the only complain i've got so far, the car is fantastic otherwise :)

@everyone: I can confirm that the MY11's remote can be configured to operate the window/moonroof, it is now working as described in the manual :). It took them about 20 minutes to program it. I am now able to close the windows/moonroof by either the remote or the lock button on the door handles. One Two more questions, I've got the corporate deal which includes 3 year free servicing, does this also include all the oil/fluid and parts or just the labour? Also, can I get my car serviced at any Lexus dealer under this deal or only at Parramatta?

definitely 15,000 kms or 1 year which ever comes first, this is according to both the service manual and the sticker on my windscreen.

@Lexus Nerd: I meant "... locks itself..." stupid typo lol Just got a call from Lexus Parramatta, apparently it is now possible to do this lol, will be taking my car in this arvo to have it done. Thanks everyone :)

you can close windows/sunroof by holding the lock button on your door handles (not sure about the roof on the 250C).. What I'm after is the ability to close windows/sunroof with the remote, it's silly to stay by the car for 20+ secs to do this lol Also, is there a way to program the car so that it unlocks itself if it cannot detect the keys? A snip of my new toy, in its Starlight Black dress, everything is stock standard, I only picked it up last Tuesday :)

I'd be interested in getting one of these, but I'm not that confident with taking my door trim apart lol How much would you charge for the kit + install?

Yes I think you definitely can, I was offered a tad more than that for the F-Sport last month! But it was in Sydney though.

Hi guys, Just picked up my new IS250 yesterday, such a nice step up from my old Corolla :D Anyway, since this is my very first Lexus, got a couple of questions (sorry if they are too obvious/dumb lol) - In the manual, it says that you can hold the lock button to wind up all windows and close the moonroof, I tried it with my remote but it doesn't work, where do you need to be (inside or outside the car, I'm new to this keyless entry system as well lol)? - I noticed that when you play a song through your iPod, the audio automatically changes songs when you scroll up/down the playlist screen. It automatically picks the first song on top of the screen. Is there anyway to stop this, it is annoying! Thanks :D

Hi all, Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong section. I've recently managed to get a quote for a brand new IS250 Prestige 2011 with EMV and moonroof for $59,000 drive away, this also includes free servicing for the first 3 years. Do you all think I can get a better deal elsewhere? Cheers

if you don't mind, how much did you pay for it and which dealer you're getting it from? I'm also interested in getting one :)
