  1. It gives you 3% more wank factor. That alone is worth it? lol But honestly I would like it if I could afford it. The standard fob doesn't go well with my jeans. Looks like a got a disease on my leg. Other than the reason in my mad rant, its pretty pointless cause the standard rectangle does the same job.
  2. The dampening in f sport might be all over the place. i.e. not set up properly, or more specifically, not the way that you would hope. This is only based on what i believe you are describing.
  3. I didn't read this, but I think this will have some indication of what my previous post was on about: http://www.howstuffworks.com/car-suspension2.htm
  4. lol from what he describes its the shocks. They aren't doing their job properly and are being firm just because of the spring itself. i.e. bad dampening force
  5. Better off going to super cheap and getting some tools. It's fun and easy to do. If you can solve one of those kids puzzles where you put the shape in the hole of that shape, then you can put on an axle back! Otherwise ignore the jibber jabber above and speak to Danny. Otherwise otherwise, any exhaust shop will charge $50-$70 at most.
  6. Chase this up. Im interested in these headers... I curious to any gains. Intake and exhaust got me no where (even with 2 of the 4 cats gone)
  7. Yup, just bring your bottle and they will just cross off the charge for their oil.
  8. Just to let you know. I had my IS350 serviced recently after 6,000km. The filter was gone. Totally clogged, and the bypass was already being used. (i.e. the filter was no longer actually filtering)
  9. Whats a hump?? Yeah, mine came with bridgestone (pretty crap tyre, but dead silent)
  10. so much read in the posts. Anyways... took ages for my sound system to burn in. Like ages! But yes, its not for the teeny boppers with your LMFAO Gaga Harry potter chrisbrown and other stuff. It's balanced sound. Its clean.
  11. Just keep watching, there will be a meet in the next couple of week i suspect.
  12. You should come to some of the meet that Danny usually organises. Some of us have rims, the range from: Stock: which is stock. Level=0 Chris: Conservative Level=2 Terrrrrry: Nice almost flush Level=5 Dennis: Slammed flushtastic ballerrrrrrr! Level=7 Tom: Doesn't like police Level=8 Maybe you could get the level 10 haha :) You will usually see those at the meets.
  13. haha sorry dude. You will need to roll the guards if you want any sort of dish. 9inch wide +30 will rub on non rolled guards
  14. lol probably not with those offsets. Maybe with a camber kit? also getting skinny tyre and stretching isn't that great of an idea on a 350. I get traction problems already on 255's
  15. All depends on tyre size. With that offset at the rear, the most you could fit is a 235. But I suspect that will rub.
  16. I got one coming from the passenger side. Annoying, but coming from all the sports cars i use to drive, it very much less.
  17. I think if you want good reference for flush fitment the two people on the forum to look for are Danny (above) and Dennis. Everyone else runs pretty conservative. I think some pictures of Dennis' car is posted. As for my fitment? poke poke hehe :)
  18. Do the basic service. Doesn't matter where you go, cause it's usually the same thing. But for the other fluid changes. Ask yourself.... Are the brakes super mushy? Is the coolant running low? Just see what feels right and what doesn't. If it feels fine, then no real need to worry. The car is pretty bullet proof. (although i would recommend bleeding the piston section of the brakes at least, with a little top up. The brakes are super dusty on a IS, and I would expect plenty to have leaked past)
  19. wow it totally worked! thanks! Yeah, my idiot brother keeps playing with the setting to turn on the DRLs.
