Hey Brianw, welcome to the forums, congrats on the new CT, is it a 2014 model with the updates?
-
Go for it, no holes on the first gen IS, heat and dental floss/fishing wire

Hi, welcome to the forums, nice intro! Nice car you have there too,

Welcome to the club, congrats on the car

any auto store, bunnings or online etc

yeah the 200 is hb4 both the fog and headlight.
But I'd be interested to see how it looks on the 2is. Being hb4 as well (older models).
The photos are always hard to replicate what it looks like in real life -
Only h11? Or are there other sizes
-
Those hybrid ones Rich posted earlier are excellent. 1 year still silent and good
-
Yep, best mod I think is suspension, the prestige on 16's is like a boat.

Welcome to the club Rhys
In terms of power, not much you can do with the is250, other than forced induction.

colour code 11GY38 for isf or people use 1E3 toyota colour

Do you mean touching up or redoing the whole bar/bonnet? Depending on which black you have, say it has pearls, touchup paint sand/buff polish it will still show.
When I got my car assessed to see if touchup would fix the chips, they said I probably wont be happy because pearl reflects and you will always see it, best route would have been respray. -
^ What he said, the five axis gs was done for the sema show I believe couple years back.
The rear, front, spoiler, sides are all custom work with fenders as well, if they do have parts, you would have to do alot of body work on the car too -
Take the lip off, clean the boot and lip well with alco.
apply 3m to the lip, there is a double sided tape adhesion promoter you can buy,
Once its on, its on good -
Had same thing happen and done as beback, 212$ for me

Hey guys,
My name is Karl and I'm from Melbourne. I currently drive a Black 2010 Toyota Aurion Sportivo ZR6 and I love it, but I want to upgrade to a Lexus because... Well because it's a Lexus! I know some Lexus have the same powerful 2GRFE engine in them and I personally love this engine in my Aurion. In saying that, that's probably I all I know about Lexus cars and would appreciate any help you guys can offer.
I saw a few pics of some Lexus cars which made my jaw drop and was hoping anyone could tell me what model and year they are and if they come with that front bar and is it aftermarket? Thanks heaps guys!

1st picture, 2012+ GS350 f-sport custom kit by five axis
2nd, 2013+ IS250/IS350 f sport
3rd, 2012+ GS f-sport
4th, same as first
The only Lexus to have the 2grfe is the ES models, others a 2grfse
Hope that helps

Sounds odd, like the first one you got was probably oxidized or sitting there for a long time
Glad you got it sorted though -
So this faulty lhs you got, what was actually wrong with it? maybe it wasn't new?
-
Could be the ballast

pirelli p1 is more for longevity, not performance, I have them on my fronts, 225/40/18 on a 250.
If you attack corners, you probably would want something else. -
Theres that and also could try vaistech

There has been many good deals, 250 deals come very often. What year model do you want and your price bracket then go from there.
It's been covered plenty times the differences in trims. You will find depending on the year, the sports/f sport model have differences whereas the prestige and SL are pretty much consistent throughout the years. -
Did you recall the plates on the isf they drove? That fkn sucks though, hope they find your car all well and good.
We had a van which got stolen and knew who took the van and where it probably was. the police didn't do anything (although they knew the person/details) until the next day it turned up flipped on its side... in front of a police station.
