One thing to keep in mind is that the gs come in sports luxury trim which has all the bells and whistles. Whilst the is250 you have three choices the prestige, f sport or sports luxury. The IS in general costs abit more than the gs in sports luxury trim. So if you can do without telescopic steering wheel, memory seats, radar cruise, pcs, auto dimming mirrors /rear view and probably a few others I missed out. The prestige can be had for alot cheaper.

Too bad these aren't for Honda's, no performance gain here. These are for aesthetics.

Oh and the secret menu won't let u use the Nav whilst driving to answer your qn
-
Its with the loading.kwi data found on older maps, i know it doesnt work on my11 up but haven't tried with the my09 nav.
-
You dont need to access the secret diag menu for that. Do the other hack ( volume menu-> top left, bottom left x 2) and you can use nav whilst driving.
Although I think if you updated the dvd version, it gets rid of it, but you can make a hybrid disc but thats another story.- 1

Up for sale is a set of used Tein S Tech Springs for 06+ IS250 and IS350
Price: Sold pending payment
Located in Sydney
msg me if you're interested. If buyer wants, i'll leave them on the oem shocks (+stock springs) and swap over so it's a straight swap.
-
Yeah did this there, car idles alot better
-
There are a few threads around about it already, try using the search. like http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/10006-75k-service-due-soon/page-2
But things to consider, are the local shops using genuine parts, do you get a loan car, are they doing it properly.
Ultimately, its up to what you are willing to pay.
I did a service at ultratune once, they spent the whole day doing spark plugs and didnt do anything else. Waste of time.Of course every ultratune is different but I'll go to lexus for the major service for peace of mind.

You can get them anywhere, try ebay?
H11 fitting is what you're after, and you want a rubber grommet if you want to drill the dust cover to fit it through. Some kits come with them

I wouldn't call the 3is just a cosmetic upgrade, the chassis and sussy alone are a huge improvement over the 2is. push a 2is 350 f-sport then do the same for a 3is f-sport, its night day.
-
Hi,
Up for sale is a set of eagle eye led tail lights for the 2is. The side led does not light up anymore as it's a design flaw (probably loose connection) as confirmed with the seller.$150
Located Sydney.
Thanks -
Yes I still got them
-
You mean like where to get aftermarket parts? Or brands out there?
I know here in Sydney a dealer supplies/fits ppe headers as well as fsport exhaust, you could try asking your local dealer to save abit on shipping.
For the other headers you can check out the green global auto section in this forum as a supplier and exhausts there are plenty of options -
Never said it was the odo?
I believe the OP confused the odo being the range.
No need to over confuse the OP calculating average and range.
-
Wow, that is really low... I'd be interested to know how you're measuring 300k.
I did a recent trip to Adelaide and on the long runs to and from Melbourne I got 9.3 and 8.9L /100k - i.e a full tank every 500+km
On the short trips sightseeing (still not in traffic) I got 10.2L/100K.
An IS 350 should be miles better than that.
wait, sorry, i look the odometer.. is that in km? soz... i'm not sure if that's how i'm suppose to....
I circled what you want to be looking at
