edit - scrap that, still on the fence between the F and 3IS 350.. lol.

basically for me its down to build quality/reliability and the fact that I got invited to a drive day.. LOL Mazda did invite me to a CX-5 drive day, wasnt as fun.. :P

they only come with the polished pipe / black airbox / blue filter having it removed on friday so I will have more pictures then but just google etc, same thing. not an f sport exhaust, OEM 350.

The RC looks amazing, I previously had a 370z and didn't really enjoy the attention it was getting (hence the Lexus IS / why i love the sleeper aspect of the F) blends in, but at the same time sort of doesn't :) I really could go either way I'm a huge tech geek love that it has driving modes and adjustable suspension and the gauges etc just wish they would have done something with the 3.5 to give it a bit more power or just something to it that would have completely convinced me to get one. Something about forking out for a car that is all new but still essentially the exact same engine as I have now .. Hmm and if they do something to the engine on the my16 update for eg it would really hurt. Either way il be in a Lexus so it's all good :)

well for 2013 I got my IS350 which I do really love. 2014 I am considering if things go well possibly soon upgrading to a MY11 or up ISF or 3IS 350 f sport. assuming I can do it its an awesome position to be in from one perspective, from another its driving me crazy. on one hand I love the idea of a japanese v8, love that its a sleeper, love the 8 speed but the interior is very dated. then you have the new 350 with an amazing interior, exterior.. growing on me ( love the headlights, not a fan of the rear) but with the same engine (granted it has the 8 speed) and that 'new factor' just... cant.... decide.. I know even if I end up with the 3IS 350 which is obviously a beautiful car, if an ISF passes me and I hear that v8... yeah... lol. but then.. new.. mm. will report back in a few months.. :)

ebay it, should be around $350-400 AUD. adds a nice growl when you push it! I like it personally because its OEM lexus.

wow I would have said no for sure, I know some US guys have put the ISF cluster in but the oil temp etc wont work and constantly flashes. very impressive (and expensive) job. and I doubt anything from the side menu would work, eco settings etc.. but if it does -damn...

Yep, id also recommend the f sport floor mats from them if yours are beat up.

in the back of your owners manual you will find little square change of ownership cutouts, you can submit this to lexus and they will then send you our a lexus encore package which lists your features etc. chances are the recall has not been done on your car as it has only been issued recently, if you want to check open your drivers door on the inside panel (steering wheel side) is a little silver/foil/stamp/sticker deal that lists the date (for eg mine has 22/10/2013) and a number below - I also confirmed with a friend who had the recall and he has the same sticker so I guess this is lexus's way of identifying if the recall has been done (apart from entering it into some d/base) or just ask the guy :)

latest maps is v19 purchased them from ebay (lexus of miami) think they were around $60-70. so a bit more than a generic set but I wanted lexus parts. congrats on the 350 :) feel free to PM if you have further questions.

I used the wheel man, its a mobile service in sydney. they charge around $130-160 per rim depending on the condition, so its not a cheap service and if you can just find a spare set of rims that would be the better option, however being f sport I was looking at $2 - 2.5k to get another set so I just got it done. takes about an hour a wheel and they do not remove them from the car.

had mine done today, according to my dashcam it was around a 3hr process (bonnet went up at 10am, down at 12:45ish) seems the same really not that I expected significant changes. got them to program the windows for auto up and down so thats the only bonus really :) happy with the service @ the local dealer.

I was about to say Sewell but they charge a ton for shipping IMO (if you join some of the bigger american lexus forums you get a discount of 10% or so, pro tip) try lexus of miami also they are very 'ebay friendly' with decent shipping I have ordered a few parts from them. so the range rover was that bad eh?

F Sport intake (thanks Danny) F Sport shifter Set of new Potenzas ISF floor mats Swapped out all interior lights to LED and replaced door lights with eBay LED units Upgraded the maps to the latest 2013 spec all 4 f sport rims restored (each had gutter rash) OEM wheel locks Next up - Tanabe medalion axle back exhaust - on the way Opticoat from bright shine automotive - end of month And yeah that's it for now!
