  1. No only 2 people but id say it would be fine as it's still above 100mm lowered - I did remove the 2x plastic pieces that sit infront if the front tyres as they did scrape a little on some higher speed bumps etc - makes no difference to the car at all in my experience. Yes just angle and it's fine, in fact I have had no problems with ANY driveway / speed bump (since plastic removal which can easily be reversed) with the exception of a townhouse I bought - but the driveway - road angle scrapes standard cars.. It's pretty bad. Slightly firmer but no complaints overall and no rattles etc, I have no intention of going back to stock springs unless I'm selling it!
  2. yeah apparently my car has a better allignment 'after' my spring install then stock - thats pretty sad lol. unfortunately I did not get the specs but I was told the tyres would wear more evenly now..
  3. more of a Tommy Kaira /Rowen IS + BBS very nice. dont trust your GPS? solution.. hmm..
  4. Well that's one opinion. In my experience I have had "etched" paint in the past due to removing droppings, with opti even after a year same situation removed with no etching. Anyway I'm happy with the product and use it on all of my cars.
  5. Great pics! Nice work guys
  6. just be aware the front bar may have to come off check here http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-third-generation/729810-oem-grille-surround-install-diy.html personally I wouldnt bother .. seems like a lot of work.
  7. Spec, I dont think any product would do that (only something like ventureguard/3M film that you can apply to the front of a car etc - but people generally key doors etc not the front) "Opti-Coat is not a wax, nano or sealant that will degrade over short periods of time. Think of it as being another ceramic layer to your factory clear coat, only harder, and with a higher resistance to staining." more info : http://www.brightshinemobile.com/permanent-paint-protection.html or just google. very happy with this product have had it on a volkswagen GTI (done by Dave @ Reflect Effect - Parramatta) and my 2011 and 2013 350 by Frank @ bright shine mobile.
  8. http://www.bbs-japan.co.jp/jp/products/ri_d.html Garage 88 could import etc. very nice :)
  9. Tell him Dave from northmead passed on the details
  10. Sorry to hear :/ I'm very happy with opticoat and can reccomend a detailer who applies this (Frank @ bright shine mobile) he has worked on 2x of my cars, extremely professional.
  11. So being a 3IS fan you always try and seek out what the guys over in Japan are doing - which isnt always easy to find. then I discovered Minkara which is basically a Japanese social facebook type deal/car blog / build thread in one. http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/ top right just search model - AVE30/IS300H/GSE31/GSE30 etc - and away you go ;) wouldnt be right unless I started with something like this : some inspiration / ideas for 3IS owners here :
  12. another two seeming as no one else has posted any up yet - too cold to get the good camera out of the car lol.
  13. another option is you can actually order a color coded grill from sewell lexus in the states - would look even better, pricey id imagine though and you would have to take the entire front bar off.. http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/viewall/IS350-2014/6770.html could plasti-dip.. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-third-generation/740610-vinyl-wrapping-the-front-grill-chrome-trim.html but apart from that would just have to speak to the vinyl experts in the area.
  14. great meet! absolute freezing but really enjoyed the BBQ and friendly people ! thanks to all. edited pic to remove plates for all :)
