X Pipe

Quicker than anticipated, I have now had the custom X pipe installed. Secondary cats removed. Picked up car this morning so will give more detailed feedback after weekend but thought I would get some pics up.

Great work by the boys at City Performance Centre Artarmon.

Initial impressions are that the throttle response is improved and that nice V8 sound more distictive but not over the top. No drone or increase in sound when cruising.

As an aside did anyone know that we have a twin walled exhasut?

Pipes are made of Stainless steel . Nice job too.

Defiantely improved throttle response, sounds better.

Keen to give it proper test at the track next Wednesday. Hopefully a few standard ISF there to compare notes with.

Nice work. If you dont mind me asking... how much did it cost? Just wondering what the price difference would be between a JoeZ or another exhaust imported from the states vs. getting a custom one made up here....

i went with off the shelf stuff

as doing anything custom here will cost more

and also

these off the shelf stuff have already been R&D'd so the quaility is good

some times on a custom you can have a terrible sound all depdning on the muffler sizes and bends etc

That looks sweet! You should pick up a bit of power from the cat removal!

Do you get any smell from the secondary cat removal at all?
