Hey guys,

I was wondering any here knows if there is a difference between the auto and manual dash harness?

I am looking at doing some major work to the car, and it requires some harness adjustments.

No "i think, or maybes".

Thanks

you wont find a solid answer here as no 1 has pulled apart an IS before

but by my previous expereince yes there will be a difference

as it has more wires to control the auto compared to a stick

You can grab a copy of the wiring diagrams on eBay for around $20.

That being said, in the Toyota Soarer, the entire harness for 3 different engines was installed into every chassis. Easier to use 1 harness than 3 different ones. I'd be surprised if the wiring was different in the IS.
