Look What I Saw Today

I saw this at Rhodes shopping centre. Looks really good in the flesh, but the wheels are dead wear.

All you really need are wheels, and boom.... mad looking car.

So, what's the official release date ? I thought it was 8/6 or 12/6 ?

8/6 would make sense given the model name, although I heard it was released last Thursday, 7/6.

In any case, the exact date of release doesn't really matter. If you ordered one today, you won't get it for about three months - the backlog's that big.

Well my brother went to the show room in paramatta yesterday. That's the only dealer with the car right now.

Next week there will be in all dealers.

That's a similar story to what I heard.

A workmate put a deposit down last weekend. It won't arrive until September.

I also heard the AT model will have a similar transmission to the IS F - true manual gear selection, with 0.2s changes.

Now, they couldn't put that in the 86 without putting it in the third generation IS ... Could they?

Yeah I love that new shape, such a shame it runs a dog suby engine and doesn't outperform a V6 camry in a straight line. So far I've seen a 2UR and a 2GR swap on a few sites, but boost would help I guess.
