Buyer blues: monster resale value..?

Evening all! A friend introduced me to the IS family recently when I was looking for a comfortable, fun commuter.. but I'm having trouble joining your club.

Resale on clean low km IS200 & IS250s is.. insane. Or maybe my expectations are unrealistic. You tell me. $10,000 for a 2005 IS200 (76,000km.) $20,000 for a 2005 IS250 (24,000km.) 🤔

I personally would never pay $20,000 for an old IS250, no matter how clean or low KM it is. IS200, possibly.

Plenty of fantastic examples out there that are newer for a lesser price.

ok heres some currently market values

3-5K is a IS200 - 99-05 10K is alot for a is200 u can get a is300 with low kms for 10K or so

IS250's go for around 7-20K for 06 to 13 models so 20K for a low km is abit high  realisticly that cars worth around 13 or so due to the kms

@ 20K u can get a decent milage IS350 arond 120-140K kms and they are all 11-13 models

Had to give up in the end. Hopeless sellers. I've moved on to Honda Accord Euro's in their luxury spec. See you in four years when I can afford a late model Lexus. 😛
