SYDERIS250
So I bought a set of 16"s with great tyres from Jake and fitted them this morning. Wife is happy. Ride is smoother (If not as cool looking.....) I am considering whether to store the 18"s for if we ever sell the car or just sell them and be done with it? Tyres are Dunlop Sports Max (225 front, 255 rear) with about 1-2mm above tread wear indicator. Out of interest, what would the rims be worth 2nd hand? See my post further down for images of the wheels and tyres
ilv1004s
Those are the OEM sport wheels Worth more than 1K easily close to 2K if your tyres are good and rims have no marks on em (iv seen them go for) but in the end it all depends on the market if i were u i would keep them they are rare wheels
dis-lex-sic
they are rare wheels I wouldn't call them rare ilv1004s. No offense as I know you have the same wheels, they look great, however they were standard on every Sport IS250 sold for close to 4 years. I've seen them on different cars too, even Hilux's. I do agree with you though ilv1004s, best just to keep them.
SYDERIS250
Sent off my wife driving on the 16's. She likes them. Hmmm. To keep and take up garage space, or sell?

GSaad
I would be happy to buy them for the right price. Recent set on ebay went for $600 (just the rims) Let me know
SYDERIS250
... and I would only sell them for the right price. Previous owner bought the rims new for $4k from the stealer. If I spent about $300 on the rims I could get them back to new condition in which case they could "theoretically" be worth $2k. I'm figuring that somewhere above $1,500 and I would consider parting with them. I don't need to sell them, and could happily store them in the back of the garage until the lease is paid out in 4 years. If someone thinks they are worth more than $1,500 then I'm happy to talk. Tyres are Dumlop Sports MAxx. 225 40 R18 89Y Fronts 255 40 R18 94Y Rears
Mal Ward
Hi - as they need some repair and tyres don't have much left, would you take $1000 for them?
