i see a IS250 everytime i go out, i mean, EVERY SINGLE time
its a really popular car, although, i only ever see the prestige ones with the ugly 16" rims, sometimes a few Sport Lux's, rarely see a IS250 with the same sport rims as mine
I can't remember ever seeing your ride man.
You need to go the next meet k.
btw, got style k?

I don't think you meant to drink the celebration shampaign that much...lol
-
I'm gonna leave it for now and see what happens. Don't think there is gonna be uneven wear anytime soon.

Having an active forum with many active threads is purely depending on the members. Alot of people don't like to forum whore so they take a more passive role. If this is the case, there is nothing anyone can do about it. Even if you have more cruises and meets, the role people want to play on the forum remain the same. It's up to the individuals.
This Lexus forum as i see it caters for ALL lexus models....it is not just IS250 or GS450 etc. This is potentially the problem...a drop of blood in a pool isn't gonna make it red.

The ride was excellent, no more unwanted body role as you can imagine. The DF210 drop is less agressive than Teins and Eibachs but for what i needed the drop to be, it's just right for me (no nose-dive and no bottoming outs). Very happy with the drop on 18s. Had i got 19s, i might go for abit more of a drop, but 19s will be quite different i'd imaging.
If anyone is in the same boat as me, who wants a non aggressive drop, the DF210 is perfect..if you want more drop Eibachs or Teins would be ok too i guess.

It's in your thread of show latest mods.

Thanks Chris, it was $55 so i'm not that fused, i suppose at the end of the day there's 10 stories about 9 cars lol
But yeh, can't complain now that i got my wheel alignment done.
I'm already thinking about further down the track...maybe 19s...

Has anyone hear about the factory unadjustable values of castor figures. My reading from Jaxx are 7.68 (LT)7.76 (RT).
They told me these figures are factory locked in to cater for unlevel roads (slantly roads that caters for rain water running to the sides). They said if the car is completely on level ground then the car will not pull to the left.

Just joined the forum....I just bought one two weeks back, 09 model
Sensational, please feel free to show it off with some pics. Gonna be hectic.
Oh and don't forget to give us some evaluation also. :)

lol@Danny. Hard to believe u still have oem wheels (and coils etc.) on mate.

29200Kms. Yeh, i don't like waiting for 3mins or so before heading off. It does feel thick.
The car is due for 30000 service and could need tuneup too if that helps.
-
It'll be Edge but yeh i'm not satisfy with 5w during startup, it felt abit thick.
-
My last 5000Km was with Edge 5W-30. I might change to 0w-40 in the next change.
-
1.4"F, 1.3"R, very acceptable drop, rims suit the car heaps...how much rim and springs? a tentative quote would be good for those who like :)
-
Where they all should be Chris... :)
I would put it as the RAYS location.
-
Is it? Better decide what size and where to put the stickers now then :P
-
Perhaps a cruise to Sydney's Chatwood dealer for the 90k service (and meetup with us Sydneyers) might be the way to go then :)
-
For a car out of warranty (assuming yours is a 2005??) wouldn't you want to look for alternative places?
-
Perhaps a couple more Meet and Greet type meets before doing a cruise?
-
Yes sir, hopefully by Sat they will settle and i'll take some shots then. We initially scheduled the installation
this Sat but Danny thinks midnight work is best so it was done last night lol.
-
Do they come in sizes, S, M and L?
-
Are these it?
