Supercheap just had special on Edge 5w-30, so i changed it to that recently. Mobil is too expense i feel but would be the better choice, either 0W-40 or 5W-40.

That said the is250 is a luxury prestige car, i would be happy for paying a car which costs less than the 320i and yet goes as fast as the 325i.

I have iPhone, and can use Trapster, but i still see no way around these 2-in-1s cameras.

I find overspeed was an issue in the IS. Becos it is so smooth and quiet, i'm constantly thinking and feeling i'm going 60 when it's actually 80.

And they are bringing 5 LFAs over here lol, not to mention making HSVs and FVPs more powerful...what's the damn point of driving let along driving a fast car with these traps.

What happened to the Tiens no ilv1004s? I would love to lower my car but 1.6" is too much, and on 18s.

I would think 1" allround would be enough, not really sure why they make springs more lowered at the Front than the rear, don't really like the nose-dive look.

Unfortunately when it comes to selling cars, it's a buyer's market. I'm all for dealers servicing but i'm also mindful that a good mechanic (one that you know and let u see what they do) can do just a good job as the dealers if not better. I tend to buy my own parts and just pay for my mech's labour with all my previous cars.

For the lexus, i am planning to keep it for along while (6-7 years) an i agree when it comes to thinking of selling it could be fetching 20-30K (if i'm lucky). But then i know if i keep the car for that long, selling it won't be feasible due to the fact that i know the car inside out. A well kept car lasts ...

For what the dealers are charging i know if i buy my own part and go to my mech, i'll save around $300 (for the 36 months service).

One time on ebay a seller had the set with tyres for $1800. Even then i wasn't about to just jump on it as i wasn't sure of the history.

If they are near perfect and with tyres say $10K old, i'd think about it for $2K. I'm not saying they aren't worth more, it's just that a new set of 19s with new tyres go for that much (18s are about $1600). Sure one has to sacrifice suitability and confort for looks and i'm more in it for looks so...

My remote decided this morning it didnt want to start the car. I kept on getting Remote Key not detected. Rang up Dick Smith and walked to a few Camera shops, and even an asian $2 shop. No one has it.

then i google, hoping there could be someway to get the car started. It turns out that it could be possible if you put the remote right up close to the start button and give it a go. So i tried it and it WORKED!!! after a few attempts.

I then went all the way to Para to get a battery which costed $18 + GTS.

So yeh, food for thought about trying putting the key close to the start button.

Mine is coming up, but i've only got 23000Km on the clock. So i'm better of going to Chatswood? last time Para did mine for $680.

It was a customer's car, and this was the upgraded model. I tend to put my hand over the stick when i drove and this was when i felt the looseness when goving over bumps. It was very loose. Other cars was loose but not as bad.

I rarely use the manual mode on my car, so it's all hard :P
