  1. Looking good using IE 8 - Gap at top of screen has gone and the Search Button is now visible. :) :)
  2. I installed a GROM in my IS300 a couple of years ago. Installation (basically a plug and play) and connectivity was easy. Not sure if there would be any differences for a IS250?
  3. Hi Steve, I am happy to start a log if you want. If anyone has problems / sees a bug with the new site PM me and I will then put into a single list and advise the Admin guys Issue / Raised by Search Button not visible (at least on IE) - S.Gregory Can the colours be lighted ie very Dark? - dis-lex-sic Gap at the top of the screen is large - can the Club / Your Lexus / Buy and Sell run across the screen rather than down? - dis-lex-sic
  4. Plus 1 - Doesn't seem to be as friendly at the moment with IE as it is with some of the other software packages. Always takes time to bed it in :)
  5. Yeah, no lowering yet, that will be next on the list, would like Tanabe's but would have to import them, which will make them quite dear, but they seem to be closest to factory spring rates. I paid $2200 for my 20's 1.5 months ago, but i'm going to put em on eBay starting at $1600, so if you like em, you're welcome at that price. Tyres have done 1300 k's. (Nankang NSII's. I just came up from the garage, have just installed my K & N Typhoon kit. Can't wait to give her a test run in the morning.... How did you find the K & N Typhoon kit on your test run?
  6. Have just been following this post and found this: http://www.beatsonicusa.com/beat-sonic-nt4618-navigation-control-bypass-module.html Don't have one but it seems to look pretty good.
  7. What are the thoughts on upgrading air intakes on a IS250? 1 - What type of performance improvements do they give? 2 - Is the performance increaae (if there is one) noticeable 3 - Anyone know the cost of buying locally or O/S.
  8. Thanks for the feedback - I just assmed that they would be the same as my TomTom - boy was I wrong :D
  9. Hi All, I would like to find out some pointers on setting up my Sat Nav in my 2010 IS250. Yesterday I had the following experiences: 1 - got stuck in a traffic jam on the Pacific Highway at Kempsey - Went into Port Macquarie and the sat nav wanted me to go up 30 klms of dirt road which when I stopped and asked about I was told it was 4 wheel drive quality? Anyone else had their Sat Nav send them up a bush track? 2 - noticed that all the time calculations were based on 60 klm per hours even when we had been traveeling at 100 klms for 2.5 hours previously? UPDATE: FOUND I COULD CHANGE THE SPEED THAT THE CALCULATION IS BASED ON ON THE SETUP OPTION. IT IS NOW SET AT 90 KLM (MAX IT WOULD LET ME 3 - how do you skip straight to a city when u are trying to enter an address? UPDATE: FOUND THAT IF I TOUCH THE SCREEN I CAN MOVE THE DESTINATION MARKER TO WHERE I WANT IT AND THEN JUST SET IT AS THE DESTINATION. 4 - Even though we selected the quickest route it still wanted to take us up the Pacific Highway via Tweed Heads, Tugan etc to get to Surfers even though the bypass road was clearly shorter and quicker? Will pop into Gold Coast Lexus and talk to them during the week but thought I would see what you guys had to say
  10. Looks good - I am sure you will enjoy it :P
  11. I had my previous car (IS300) serviced by both Parramatta and also Chatswood Lexus. Happy with both althought the car did seem to go better after the Chatswood service - no proof just how it felt. I will certainly be taking my IS250 to Chatswood.
  12. It was for u As I think I said in my post I purchased mine from Parramatta Lexus then saw the one on ebay. I think one of the other members purchased the one on ebay and was happy - I am very happy with the Lexus one except it was $40 dearer :D
  13. Check this out: http://au.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10586
  14. I just ordered one off Michael and if it operates as efficiently as he communicates I will be very very happy (and based on the review by LEX51S it will). I sent Michael a couple of PM's throughout the day and finally ordered one around 4pm - well he has already posted it so I should get it tomorrow or Friday - great service. I also had a couple of questions which he sent off to his supplier in Hong Kong and came back with the answers tonight !!! :D :D
  15. Toyota part number is TO-8123048020, description - Lamp Assy, Cour W603, Price is $35.97 plus GST each. I have them and the are exactly the same design / shape as the red ones except they are clear
  16. I think they are the same as on a 2010 Kluger. I have a feeling they are about $80 for the pair??
  17. That seems a reasonable price so not too bad of an end result. Last time I went to an auto electrician he connected another battery to something in the engine so that I did not lose any of my setting ie radio channels etc – They probably did the same
  18. Ring the dealer you bought the car from and ask. Sometimes they will surprise u
  19. Not sure about Lexus's but I have never had that problem with other cars with auto lights. I would be surprised if it made a difference.
  20. Go for the IS250 or even a IS350. You won't be disappointed
