I have mine done at Sydney City Lexus in waterloo, never had any problems with them over the past 5 years. Had my IS200 and 250 both done there. They always pickup from my home or office and return to me when I am out onsite at a client :) They are always pretty helpful and the service manager there always goes the extra mile for additional stuff that I want done (they even got my damaged rim repaired for me once) and I have always got nice loan cars like the RX350 and IS250. Never had a GS yet though :)

Hi Guys, I was wondering if there is a special way you need to burn your data DVD's in the ML audio, as I burnt a Data DVD and a CD and the ML audio read the CD but did nothing with the data DVD. Is it possible to put a whole bunch of tunes on a data DVD as it holds more rather than on CD. Any tips would be appreciated. I am using Nero to burn DVD's and CD's. Best Regards, Naz

Thanks for the replies guys :) I was told the pre delivery guys forgot to put mine in. So I am going to get a few by mail. I got a set of OEM Black ones and it looks great on with the Ivory interior. I found that the Ivory ones get too dirty when I was looking around at some used ones and a lot of people on the US forums were getting black mats as well hence my reason for getting the black ones.

Not a bad price, in Sydney there was a similar car with 12K on the clock but no rear sensors for 52990. I am sure you could knock them down 1K or 2K. I did see a few cars when I was looking around at citylexus in Melb for around 54888 with 5K not sure if these are on the road prices are not, and also depends on the condition of the cars :)

Is250 Tyres
Naz replied to Naz's topic in Lexus IS250 / Lexus IS250C / Lexus IS350 / Lexus IS350C Club / Lexus IS-F / IS300h
Thanks guys! :) Got the Dunlop's not sure if the Toyo's come in the correct Sizes for the Is250X rim. So far the tyres are great, not much noise and great handling. I guess time will tell how I go for wear. What's the PSI for these babies? Is it all the same front and back? -
22" Rims
Naz replied to A-lexus's topic in Lexus IS250 / Lexus IS250C / Lexus IS350 / Lexus IS350C Club / Lexus IS-F / IS300h
Veryyy nice rims!! :) what tyres did you use? and what cost was the rims ? Also where are you going to get your springs fitted? Will that affect the warranty? Let me know as I am looking around for mine too :) -
Welcome to the board :) I think 47K is quite cheap, but I was told by some dealers that these cars were quite hard to move 2nd hand as nobody wanted to pay top dollar for the car as they would rather spend more money and get leather on the interior, hence possibly the reason for the cheaper price. I saw one at a dealer when I was looking for 62990K with 5000 on the clock with 1 owner, but they had been unable to sell it for 4 months. So the price is not bad, I was also told you can get a custom company to do your leather for around 3K if you like.

Hi Guys! Just a quick question, finally got my 250 today, wow it's nice and quiet to drive compared to my old 200 :)) I also had the interior mats changed by the dealer to black. However I notice there are no clips to hold it in place, I can see the holes there. Do you guys have these clips? I noticed there are only holes on the drivers side now, where as on my 200 I had them on the drivers and passenger side. Anyhow is it that someone took them off or is it that you never get them? Any assistance would be appreciated. Also has anyone found a good mat to cover the hump at the back? on the 200 I had a nice OEM mat for the center but it appears that there is none for the 250, I think this might get dirty with time. Any tips would be appreciated :) Thanks again guys :)

Is250 Tyres

Thanks for your replies guys :) I decided to go with the 18inch Rims but still looking at tyre options, Any ideas how many Km's you can get out of the Dunlop Sports Max's before it's time to change? How many KM's have you guys got so far with your Dunlop Sport Max's? -
Hi Guys, Just looking at tyre options for my IS250. I was told I could save around 400 if i got Summitomo tyres. Anyone used these or know how good these are? I was told they are made by Dunlop or Dunlop's part owner. Anyhow the choices are these or the Dunlop Sports Maxx. Price difference is about 400. Let me know what you guys think :) Thanks.

Hello, Just with regards to servicing, a very rough guide would be as follows: 15,000 km - Free, 30,000 km - $500ish, 45,000 km - $400ish, 60,000 km - $500ish, 75,000 km - $500ish, 90,000 km - $800ish, 105,000 km - 400ish, This is a very rough guide and subject to change. I was told this by a dealer when I was looking around :) Much more competitive than Audi or BMW plus you get a pickup and drop off and free loan car, how can you beat that for value. Not sure if you will get that if you buy used though, depends on the dealer where you service. Hope that helps.

Car Looks awesome! Did you end up changing the bulbs yet? If so where did you get it from and how much?
-
Thanks for that, it looks pretty good. Can you do the whole bonnet? I know on my old car the stones used to fly way higher than that and closer to the windscreen, or did they not recommend that? tell me how you go in after a week or so, I am not sure how the IS250 is but I am guessing due to the curves you are more likely to get chips up the front?

Yeah all valid points peeps :) I really enjoy driving my IS200, I drove a rented Yaris the other day and that thing does great on fuel, but somehow it feels like am I am back to riding a bike again , I think I might stick with my IS250 let's just hope these fuel prices stabilise. Wonder if Lexus is going to bring the Is250D to au?
