I'd hop on to IS350 model. All the features and reliability I've enjoyed with my current IS250 but with real grunt and power! I also hope to have the IS-F grille I've always longed for. Just hope that can be option or part can be used on the IS350! Any idea what the F-Sport IS250 is priced at?

How much does this cost in AUD$? Might be a good time to import with our strong dollars?

The sales executive at Lexus of Blackburn have not heard of F-Sport before. I showed them on the website but they were still doubtful that they are genuine Lexus accessories. Hope they will look into that when there's enough demand!

Hey, I did get it to work many thanks guys. OzBoy, have you tried putting the mirror to either L or R (as opposed to right in the middle)? It's great feature except I still get a little bit disoriented by it. Yes, timolol is a non-selective beta blocker.... :)

Yeah... I'm not exactly keen with the "fat blob" knob which comes with the manual model either... My old Corolla Levin had a nicer knob!

Really? So the SatNav clock is not linked with the external LCD clock then? That's interesting. It's not too far off. I know some people may think it's self-cheating, but I like to set my clock a few minutes fast... :P

Just wondering where is the toolkit located? Or should I've been given the toolkit by the dealer?

I'm not sure if I've overlooked something but I can't seem to find through the SatNav a place to set the time. The estimation arrival time on the SatNav seems a little behind and I would rather overestimate than underestimate. Thanks for your help! Tim

I downloaded a US-based manual together with a page with "Generation 5 Voice Commands" for the SatNav system. Is this feature not available to us? Would the Nav allow more functionalities?

I have a Sports model and the mirrors are only folded when pressing the button manually. What's a little bit annoying is that it does not work when your engine is off. On the other hand, I had the impression that the side mirrors would tilt downwards when reverse parking but found out that they don't after pickup.

Personally, I only like the second one. It's the only that meets the class of the Lexus interior. I assume this would only work with Automatic Transmission? I saw these pictures from L-Tuned Parts on F-Sport Accessories. F-Sport Quick Shifter Would anyone know if this price listed on the website includes the knob? Or does that ship by default with the quick shifter part (the blue thing)? Tim

BEFORE AFTER I'm not a big fan of the grill on the IS250 and would much prefer the IS-F style. In fact, I would like to have this changed over anything else! I came across this, but still not sure if this can really be done or not. My understanding from the thread, the IS-F grill does not fit directly on the IS250 and require some modification. Does anyone know if we can get this fitted? Me want~~~~~~~

Do you think this is something we can do ourselves? Should I approach the Taiwanese IS250 Club to see if they can do some deal for us? I found out from their website that the cost price of each decal is 420 Taiwan Dollars (approx $19.28 AUD) and selling at 500 Taiwan Dollars (approx $22.95 AUD) each. They have many active members, so they also have plenty of bargaining power... :)

I don't encourage copying the logo, but just want to give you guys an inspiration on the design and an alternative to stickers. I've seen the guys at the club place this decal either to the right of the LEXUS decal or on top of the IS250 decal. I like the latter arrangement.

I came across these decals which the Taiwanese IS250 owners put on the trunk. Quite nice. What does everyone think?

IMO Shell is the worst fuel on the market, always has been. I use BP Ultimate and no other in any of my cars, i will even run them empty and drive past several servo's to find a BP. Why is Shell V-Power the worst fuel on the market? What makes BP Ultimate better than V-Power? All along I thought it was the octane value that matters...

Hi everyone! I am also a (hopefully) soon-to-be IS250 owner! I've left a deposit but just need to negotiate to get them to fix up a few things (it's pre-owned) before finalising the deal. I too very much appreciate the information and enthusiasm we have here on this forum. Also thanks to ProjectIS for some tips and advise on purchasing. In regards to upgrading the Prestige model by replacing alloy wheels and suspension, any idea what this kind of upgrade might cost? I also realise that Lexus no longer sells the Sports model. Is this a recent change in response to the economy?
