  1. i'd love the interior, paintjob, and car audio thanks :P maybe the engine swapp tooo :D
  2. paint job most likely cost around 15 thousand if i am not mistaken. the thing is, if that gets a small chip in the paint job you pretty much need to paint a whole new layer onto the car, cause yer the fact that its marble..
  3. i think this is the most insane IS250 in australia, has a 22 layer marble paint job costing who knows what 22's front and rear. suicide doors.. i'd never buy it, or make a car like this, although i'd drive it. maybe... the paint job i would do. what do you think?
  4. that's awesome, it's definately next on the list of my mods. i'd rather get this than my lip kit, or intake or what not..
  5. where did u get it from man? i would rather get this mod instead of my coilovers. :P
  6. I'm more worried that he's gonna scratch the sh1t out of his car using those public washes. Go brushless or do it yourself. Same here. I cringed when I saw these pics. please leave the car dirty instead of washing the car there. dude your just paying for scratches. nice car though lol. AHHH u serious? oh *BLEEP*. i seriously need coiloversssssssssss
  7. nah your right man, i bought them like that, i got the smoked version, just thought it would look better with the colour of our cars then the clear ones.
  8. @LEX51S, i got the same lights but the tinted version. i was going to tint my reflectors but i gave up.
  9. im more interested in this ecu retune from toms i was speaking to somebody about ecu remapping and i was told that you cant do it unless you buy a piggyback..etc. If this ecu is true about toms anybody post details as i am keen to do it too.
  10. i went into the lexus spare parts today trying to order f-sport kit. The goons haven't even heard of it here.
  11. i'd also like to say so.. ah well, soon man, soon they will find their way onto the internet and find it.
  12. we'll see how it slowly turns out, im coming to sydney in january so we'll see if possible we'll get a lil cruise happening too. from what my perspective is so far, ive been influenced from the us forums on how to modify my lex. we'll see how it goes, if the mods look tacky or lose value well as i said, theyre all going to be bolt on or screw ons so nothing i would be sussed out about. it's something that people see and go wow that guy is different and he has done it to a different car, not saying its going to be whack when im done but something decent and something different. we gotta go against the grain to start a trend and that's all im basically doing, using a trend from another country and being influenced by it to build my own car, ofcourse not everybody likes it, but there will be a time when it gets accepted and a time where people actually become influenced by the way i've done it. it's hard winning your votes but its not everyday you see a lexus modified.
  13. i agree with you to some extent, i cant stress it enough to say my wheels are temporary, HEY ITS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS :P girls love it at the gold coast :P im seriously keen as to getting decent rims sooner down the track n the near future, just gotta sell alfa to clear some more funds. Mate grill is a 10 minute job lol. if i get sick of it bam, it'll come off. the thing was, i checked out usdm styling and i fell in love with the usdm styles. that's what i achieve on doing, simply recreating the american trend here. it's only a month since i've owned it, not months or years like the other tuners in australia/usa. So just lets see what the future has installed and how far deep my pockets can get.. here's some examples of usdm is250s..
  14. i wasn't a fan of the clear ones, the ones i have on for now are smoked clear.. we'll see how it goes down the track, might get them tinted...
  15. and here is proof i dont ruin a standard looking car, my everyday other car :P i know it's not a lexus but i have some taste and flavour in cars....
  16. hey guys just replying back to everybodies comments on the one reply.. as to suspension, i just asked about the opinions of the d2, racing logics, all them cheaper, kc, bc racing or whatever. my initial plan is to go all out and get the best for my car. as for the wheels, i did state in my first comment that these are just temporary so i can save up for some work varianza t1s, work vs-xx, or some nice bbs rims in a staggered set. i want to get the tien super street coilovers, im happy to spend around 2k for them. as you say ride comfort, im not using these wheels for that reason, again i'll state it theyre just temporary so my car looks somewhat complete when i get it lowered, i don't want to have coilovers on a set of 16s, that'll just look wrong in my opinion. im not to young for this car, what are you kidding me lol. i didn't know theres an age group to this car, i love the lexus and i went for it. EDIT:for the record these 19s ARENT 1500 dollar wheels new.. thanks for the comments guys, the reason i changed the grill was cause i liked this nice black mesh grill. i really saw soo many lexus's with the same standard grill either with the chrome on it and without. so i was like you know what its not everyday you see a different lexus, it's also not everyday you see a p plater driving with one, get this it'll look decent, some may think it's cheap but some may like it. it doesn't need to have the lexus badge on it, any person who has an idea about a car will know what it is without the lexus badge on the grill. that's the reason i also debadged it because i want it to stand out for it. as i said, i've owned the car for a month now and have changed it that much so far.. once i get my coilovers, tanabe catback exhaust system and some tint i'll be happy for a short period of time till i decide to think of more stuff to do with it.
  17. hey man, umm i got the grill of ebay LOL. you'd be surprised how awesome the stuff can be sometimes, you just gotta be careful it all goes well. heres some more pics, i test fitted the wheels, front just scrubs a tinyyyyy bit when at full lock so might have to do something about it. hey are the d2 coilovers australian standards and legal? and how much are they?
  18. thanks man, i just couldnt justify the stock 16s that were hideous with such huge guards.. i cant wait for them to be fitted! umm, to be honest, i have no idea lol. my dad installed them for me, i've also removed my reflectors as i want them tinted. i just hope the wheels dont scrub
