  1. nothing special. just took that before... and for a formal run i did last week.. (pic was taken with iphone)
  2. didn't your parents pay for yours? what's the point, it's just a is250 lol
  3. i've been quoted about 600 bucks for my service.. i just want to know what they actually change, cause personally i think 600 bucks is quite a fair bit, but then again i just would like to know what they change so i can see if i can source things myself and go to my own mechanic.. is it just oil filter, brake pads, wiper change, air filter.
  4. love the look of these wheels, how much where they if you don't mind me asking? cause i know meisters in 2 piece and 3 piece are a fortune :P good way to spend about 3-5k :P i think these wheels are amazing, they were my wheel of choice, although i might settle for some ROTA's, *high quality replicas of volk* Anyway man here is my mates car who has these wheels these are the volk replicas
  5. when i meant that, i meant you're better of saving coin and just getting coilovers.
  6. Goodluck on getting this off the ground man, the Tein springs group buy which sets back only $400 per person even that failed. Can't see a groupbuy for anything more getting started. Best you just buy something local yourself. i'd be keen on coilovers, bodykit, vinyl wrap... springs are just kind of pointless, you're better off getting coilovers.
  7. Hey guys, it's been a while since i was last on here. Anyway, its time for me to start the next phase of my personal DIY modifications to my car. This time, i choose to vinyl wrap a few things, now i've got some questions. Where can i buy this? how hard is it to apply? What is the negative and the positive effects of this. I plan on getting black vinyl wrap for all the chrome parts of the car, and possibly a bit of cf wrap for my badges and my front grille. Tell me your experiences. As i've got to get my car ready for jamborree im in a rush to get everything done to get it up there on display. I'm also contemplating on opening up my headlights again (super lengthy process do not try this) to put some black vinyl wrap in there.. Because im on a budget i wont have alot of money to pour into this project as im also about to buy a set of BC racing BR series coilovers (need opinions on this too) i'll be getting my wheels powder coated matte black to follow the theme. i will exclude the bonnet and bootlid for now, but considering doing the roof in black matte vinyl too.. for those of you who are unaware my car is silver. thanks guys :) milad..
  8. hey man, where did u get the cf vinyl from? im really keen to wrap all my chrome trimming around the car and open up the headlights to black everything out..
  9. im really keen to get the bc racing br series, has anybody had any experience with these? are they camber adjustable, do i need a rear camber arm? far out this is hard, not having any idea :(
  10. i was first to do the light conversion, :P took alot of balls but was definitely worth it..
  11. haha good to see you took my advice and joined btw, it's milad. The people on this website are awesome
  12. props to you for being brave enough to do this. thanks to you i finally worked up the courage and got off my lazy backside and also did the mod! had the kit sitting around for over a year but just couldn't quite get to it..... too scared... lol :-) thanks for the pix, it helped out a lot! :-) heres my version of it. although i had a problem with the right side which i'll correct when i get a chance! No worries man, i had alot more photos that i was going to upload when i had the chance, i was annoyed a tiny bit when the headlights didn't align properly, but then i got it sorted out. I loved how that little box fit perfectly under the headlights with enough space to put zip ties on it, just like it was there for it to be put in :P Yeah man, funny story actually, this is how i got around to doing it, i bought the kit about 3 months ago and it was just lying there. One day i went to a shopping centre and as i was walking this mazda 3 drove into the carpark that was stock with angel lights, long story short i chased the guy for about 500m on foot. then got to know him and became mates and he basically said he'd help me out so we just did the conversion. I like how you have a white bulb, i've got to change mine, but seriously how much nicer does it look? every building i drive past at day or night i can see the reflection and the amount of attention it gets. it's phenomenal
  13. hey mate. i haven't told the forum yet but i just picked up my second is250. my first one i have that i'm currently testing and modifying is my silver one, it's a 2008 prestige model without the sunroof and emv.. Just last week i purchased another is250, this time i picked up a dark grey is250 sports luxury with all you can imagine. comparing the two of them i just put my hands down and say straight away that the Sports Luxury is the way to go. for starters you get the mark levinson system, which i just did the dvd hack and i have to say it is amazing, sound is amazing compared to the other 13 speaker pioneer unit. you get 3 person memory seats, mirrors and steering wheel along with the passenger, you get a electric adjusting steering column. Reversing camera, parking sensors, better head lights, better ride height.. my sports luxury is a 2007 model and it just has 12,000kms. you just need to have patience because you can get the best deal that way.. Comparing the two, my silver car feels like a hyundai compared to the sports luxury. But exterior wise.. that's another story where as i plan to leave the sports luxury one standard and just modify the silver prestige model i have. I hope this helps.
  14. okay so i'm very tired, this is the finished product. if you guys are really keen, i did happen to take alot of photos of the steps involved to taking the bumper out, pulling the head lights out, opening the head lights, installing the conversion kit and putting everything back together. Will see how the tutorial goes if anybody is keen. Looks amazing, i thought it wouldn't make much of a difference but my god, the amount of attention it got just from tonight was amazing. So here is just a preview, a test look and the finished product, plus all the stuff i had to open up to get to the head lights along with some pics that just show random steps. Hope this gives inspiration for everybody to attempt it, it took me about a month to gather the courage and open up my head lights. anyways hope you guys enjoy! -milad
  15. no worries thought i might mix it up abit and just introduce something new to the forum. Guess it isn't as popular as i thought.
  16. and finally again my car my car needs a much more aggressive stance, lower, the ings kit and spacers :P
  17. I just went on a few car cruises, here are just some pics of the photos that they took of my car. plus some other cars that were present on the cruise. Sorry if there's too many pics. thought i'd post something different for a change.
