  1. Hello all, i have recently been down to Sandown and Phillip Island with the ISF and must admit i had a great time but my only concern was not to make contact with anyone or anything as my insurance does not cover track days. Is there any insurance company here in Australia that will give us a day cover for track days?
  2. Does the F Sport have the Lexus Park Assist, lane departure warning and Radar Cruise Control. If i can spec up a F Sport but have most of the SL features then F Sport is the way to go.
  3. Highbury automotive. Speak to Joe. PH 0882642380. 1013 Lower North East Road, Highbury. He looks after a lot of top end cars.
  4. Sweet Ride FrankyX. My issue is that the wife wants the Sports Luxury and i want the F Sport. She doesnt like the grill. I know its going to be her car but i will see if i can convince her.

I saw pictures of the car last night and must say it looks HOT! I am curious though that when the RCF is released then will they still release a ISF as it will almost be identical. I will miss the 4 door high performance though.
  6. Hope to see you again. Good luck.
  7. Sweet sound Elgin. I love it. I would love to know what KW increase has been achieved with this.
  8. I had a IS350 F Sport just before i got my ISF and i had enabled the feature in the menu system that when i locked the car it would fold the mirrors in and when i unlocked the car they would open again. I have not been in a 2011 ISF but i would assume that that feature would be included also.
  9. Any dealer who does not have anything to hide would not object to having it inspected by a authorized Lexus Dealership. If they do then they can keep it. I personally brought my ISF from a private sale in Victoria. It was a 1 owner and it was immaculate. Lexus checked it out and it has been perfect. Some of the other guys from the forums here also bought private and i have not read any negative reports. For 90k you should be getting a 2011-2012.
  10. m0nk3y first of all welcome. I have the 2010 model which does not have the new instrument cluster but is upgraded from the original model. The main changed is the suspension is softer and more refined (which you will find as each model changes it get even better) and the addition of a Torsen LSD which was definately a needed addition. My model still requires the pushing of the button on the drivers door to fold the mirrors but i believe the 2011 model does have it with the locking and unlocking of the car. Guys correct me if i am wrong. I had my ISF thoroughly inspected from Melbourne City Lexus and i would strongly advise you have it inspected from a Lexus dealership and anyone else you wish as some things are definately NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. Accidents and Flood damage are 2 to name. Also make sure it has books and Full Lexus Service History. I personally will not buy any Lexus without them. Hope this helps.
  11. ISFBloke, i still have the Michelins. Let me know what you would like to spend for them. Can you PM me? Gunnar my Dunlop Direzza are one of the grippiest tires you can get before going R SPEC and i still get a little wheel spin, (not as much as the Michelins). I will probably go with ISFBloke's R888 next time. As far as wear goes you either get high mileage and little grip which probably does not give you the proper benefit of the ISF or go for grip and get the maximum potential and enjoy the car for what it is. I guess we don't buy these cars for economy.
  12. ISFBLOKE i have just changed my rear Michelin Pilot super sports 255 35 (which still have over 60% wear left) and put on the Dunlop Direzza 275/30 on the rear. I must admit once warmed up i hardly get any wheel spin at the lights at full acceleration compared with the Michelin's which would lose a lot of traction. I have also purchased a set of 18x8 ex GS rims with a 45 offset and have put 2x 245/40 Micky Thompson ET Streets specifically for the 1/4 mile drags next Sunday. I am hoping to run a better time than when i previously had the Michelins. I almost went with the Toyo R888 for the back of my car but was concerned with normal road use how many KMs i would get, but i would like more feedback as you go with them. I may get them next for the rear.
  13. Latest word from high up in the Lexus world is that they will be bringing the coupe early next year ISF and 2016 will return the 4 door.
