  1. Awesome meet! Loved the mini cruise to Macquarie since I missed out on the Wollongong one. Thanks for organising, Chris and Danny. Can't wait to see the pics. Great choice on the rims btw! :) Special thanks to Andy for the munchies n drinks. :D
  2. i was at Sydney Olympic Park last night and there was an EVO meet. Approximately 10 cars i think. Quite a nice location (in front of Acer arena) for good pics, maybe we should consider it next time.
  3. Happy to help out. If you can confirm the time in the morning, I'll book it in my calendar. 2nd cruise perhaps? :D
  4. Sorry guys. Was looking forward to this cruise but now I'm unable to make it.
  5. Just realised, isn't it risky having a cruise during a double demerits weekend? Not to say we'll speed, but just the risk. I'm still keen though but just wondering what's everyone's opinion? :D
  6. I'm running on Kumho Ecstas (KU31). 2nd set of tyres now. I agree, super cheap and great for me coz I clock up 500km a week. You'll get mixed reviews about kumhos but I personally don't mind them. A little bit noisy but it's good value for money, if you wanna save some $$$$ .
  7. I'm getting that too. Do you know what lube I can use? I can't be bothered driving up to a dealer for something this simple. They usually fix it each service, but 15K kays is too long in between and I get noises half way through my service schedule, I tend to open/close it few times each day so lube wears out quickly. Sorry not sure actually. Read a post somewhere about it together with squeaky seats. Same here. I keep sending it in during the 15k service. Never really asked where to lube and what to use. Sending mine in again in 4000k, so will definitely find out this time. But if anyone else has done this before, please share. :)
  8. had some rattles in the left corner of my dash. Lexus of parammatta had to remove my entire dash and replace the clips. All good after that. Moon roof is rattling now but apparently from reading the forums, the common fix is to lubricate the thing. Let us know how you go after Friday.
  9. Tank average now is 9.7l/100km ever since installing the f sport intake, shocks and springs. Was previously averaging 10.4. Quite surprised.
  10. Great shots, LEX51S! Was great to meet everyone in person. Certainly made it a memorable 1st meet for me. Thanks for organizing and will look forward to the next meet / cruise. ps - thanks again Cevu n Atlantis for the generous 'contribution' !!!!!
  11. Sorry to dig up this old thread. I'm thinking of getting spacers for my wheels. My indented rims never really bothered me until I lowered my car and compared it with all your perfectly flushed rims. Cevu, are you still using spacers on yours? Was reading the other threads about how it affects insurance, safety, etc. Seeking advice on what my options are, besides getting new rims. Is everyone else still against the use of spacers?
  12. I'm in with my mate nemesisD. 1. LEX51S 2. Bluewaffle. 3. ksty1 4. Platinum_Jay 5. nemesisD 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  13. Finally fitted all my F sport stuff (filter, shocks and springs) Like previously reported, a very subtle 1 inch drop only for those itchy first timers (like mua....) who wants to lower their car but is worried about comfort and scraping the ground. Here's one I took last night after fitting. Had to capture the blue springs :) This is one day after. Not sure how long it takes to settle. ps - don't pick on my kumhos. haha.
  14. It's great, I only have one small knock where I think a large-ish stone hit the lower front bumber and left a mark on the bra. The bumper underneath is fine though! I paid $690ish for the standard kit, then got the door cups and door edges done for $100 extra iirc. Well worth it, a colleague of mine's (jonnydrama) is250 which was recently traded in has stone chips everywhere, almost looked like swiss cheese. Had it been a private sale or dealer trade in, I shudder to think at the markdown in value! Thanks for the info. $690 is worth it. Wouldn't pay over $1000. I'll probably respray first and then get the kit. Perhaps can have a look at the next meeting? :)
